Warning: The Perfect Match Season 3 spoilers ahead. They were one of the most toxic couples in the house, but are Louis and Sandy still together from The Perfect Match Season 3? Against all odds, they made it to the end, but the real question is: Did their relationship last?
Louis Russell and Sandy Gallagher were one of five couples The Perfect Match Season 3 finale, along with Lucy Syed and Daniel Perfetto; Madison Errichiello and Freddie Powell; Rachel Recchia and Ray Gantt; and Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Ollie Sutherland. They were eliminated in the final compatibility challenge, along with Madison and Freddie, and Rachel and Ray. (Lucy and Daniel went on to win Season 3, while AD and Ollie were voted as the runners-up.)

The series, which originally premiered on Netflix in February 2023, brings together singles from various Netflix reality shows as they date in an effort to find their perfect match. Louis originally starred on Too Hot to Handle Season 5, while Sandy appeared on The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3. For the first time in Perfect Match history, Season 3 introduced contestants from non-Netflix reality shows including The Bachelor, Love Island, and Siesta Key.
Louis and Sandy were one of three couples who were matched from Episode 1 and stayed together until the finale (along with Daniel and Lucy, and Ollie and AD). However, that doesn’t mean that they didn’t have their fair of drama throughout Season 3 as they went on dates with other contestants. Still, Louis and Sandy always found their way back to each other… at least until filming ended. But are they still together?

Louis and Sandy are not still together after The Perfect Match Season 3. Louis confirmed the breakup when he debuted his romance with Love Island USA Season 7 star Huda Mustafa at the red carpet of the movie Weapons in July 2025, where they were photographed holding hands.
Louis and Sandy still seem to be on good terms, however, as they both follow each other on Instagram, at the time of writing. In an interview with Elite Daily, Louis and Sandy explained their reason for breaking up after The Perfect Match. “We didn’t really have any expectations leaving the experience, to be honest,” Sandy said. “We were very real about certain things: We live in different countries; there’s a bit of an age gap; we are working on different things in our lives.”
She continued, “Things just fizzled out. We’re still friends, everything’s good, but I think reality sunk in, and we definitely are at two very different places in our life. I just don’t think that things could realistically work where we’re at right now.”
Louis had the same reason for their split. “We sort of came to a mutual agreement with where it’s going to go,” Louis said. “The way that my lifestyle is and the goals that I have set, it’s hard for me to focus on someone that’s not in the same country. We are still cool. We see each other. It’s still the same vibe, but I think where my life is heading, it didn’t make sense.”
Louis’ Perfect Match Season 3 co-star Rachel Recchia slammed him for spoiling his ending with Nancy in an interview on “The Viall Files” podcast at the time, in which she confessed she was “disappointed” to see Louis and Huda walk the red carpet together. “It’s literally airing—we have what, maybe two weeks? It feels, like, a little selfish,” Rachel said. “It affects the whole cast.” She continued, “I love him as a person. I think he’s amazing. I get along with him so well. He’s such great TV… I mean, Sandy and him have such a good connection on the show. Now people are kinda seeing things like, ‘Oh, what’s going on now?’”
Louis and Huda’s romance also sparked feud rumors with Love Island USA Season 6’s Miguel Harichi and Leah Kateb after Miguel seemingly unfollowed Louis after he went public with his relationship with Huda. “If you know me, you know I’m someone who’s very private. If I have a problem, I deal with it personally,” Miguel wrote on his Instagram Story in August 2025 seemingly confirming the feud. “However, the more I dive into this world, the more I see some people have different takes on that, and perspectives can get corrupted.”
He continued, “People I called my friends feeling as though they have the right to talk on my relationship so negatively in such a public manner with no regard for how this might affect my girl’s mental [health]!”
While Miguel didn’t address Louis by name, he defended Leah in his Instagram Story. “Making assumptions without first understanding reasons behind certain actions and using that to let people drag her name and drag my relationship is disgusting,” he wrote. “I’m beyond disappointed, I’m beyond upset, and I honestly want no part in any of it.” He continued, “It feels ridiculous I’m even writing this message, but this [is] the world I’m in, and everyone seems to need an explanation. So, here it is. The people you thought I was close to, please remove that idea from you’re [sic] mind because its clear to me now, we’re walking two different paths.”
Miguel also denied that he and Leah unfollowed Loiis because of his relationship with Huda. “They did it because, as women, the reasoning behind why he was dating her didn’t sit right with them,” Miguel wrote. “Whether or not they are truly falling for each other, at this point, I couldn’t care less. I wish them nothing but peace, but my road is my own, and I would prefer if my name and my girl’s name no longer closed into their world.”
Leah, for her part, also denied feuding with Huda. “I’m incredibly proud of everyone who has gone on Love Island bc it takes a lot to put yourself up on a chopping board like this,” Leah wrote in TikTok comment in July 2025. “I wish them all well truly. … I haven’t spoken about Love Island once. I’m not watching it. I don’t know why you guys want to involve me so badly. Please leave me alone.”
The Perfect Match is available to stream on Netflix.
