Warning: The Perfect Match Season 3 spoilers ahead. They live on opposite sides of the world, but are Madison and Freddie still together from The Perfect Match Season 3? There’s a rumor he’s dating someone else from the cast.
Madison Errichiello and Freddie Powell were one of five couples The Perfect Match Season 3 finale, along with Lucy Syed and Daniel Perfetto; Louis Russell and Sandy Gallagher; Rachel Recchia and Ray Gantt; and Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Ollie Sutherland. They were eliminated in the final compatibility challenge, along with Louis and Sandy, and Rachel and Ray. (Lucy and Daniel went on to win Season 3, while AD and Ollie were voted as the runners-up.)

The series, which originally premiered on Netflix in February 2023, brings together singles from various Netflix reality shows as they date in an effort to find their perfect match. Madison originally starred on Love Is Blind Season 8, while Freddie appeared on Love Is Blind UK Season 1. For the first time in Perfect Match history, Season 3 introduced contestants from non-Netflix reality shows including The Bachelor, Love Island, and Siesta Key.
Madison and Freddie coupled up in Episode 2 after their first date and stayed together until the finale, aside from a brief moment in Episode 5 and 6 when Madison coupled up with Jalen after Freddie was temporarily sent home to test his and Madison’s connection. Though they didn’t win the show, Madison and Freddie seemed like one of the strongest couples in the finale. During their last date, Madison even admitted to Freddie that she would be open to moving to Manchester for him. But are Madison and Freddie still together?

Madison and Freddie are not still together after The Perfect Match Season 3 finale. They confirmed their relationship status in an interview with Tudum after The Perfect Match Season 3 finale, citing distance as the reason for their split.
“The time difference was really hard for us,” Madison said. “There’s only so many hours in the day that we do get to communicate, and a lot of the time he’s working and really busy with his family.”
Madison revealed that, while she did have a plane ticket booked to visit Freddie in the United Kingdom, she ende things after learning that he had to work for most of her trip. “I didn’t want to continue a relationship with her and I felt like maybe she did take it hard, but I think it’s important to be open, honest, and transparent,” Freddie said. “It just would’ve felt like never enough, so we made a decision.” Since then, Madison’s been single and focusing on herself.
Before the confirmation, Madison hinted that she and Freddie were still together (or at least on good terms) with a series of positive TikTok videos about their relationship.
“Freddie and i sang this song so much on PM it got stck in everyone’s head and production had to keep telling us to stop bc they couldn’t put it in the edit,” Madison wrote on a video of her lip-syncing the “meow” version of Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” She also shared another video of her lip-syncing someone saying, “As long as I get it back. As long as I get it back.” On top of the video, she wrote, “me to the producers when they made Freddie leave the house.” Freddie and Madison also follow each other on Instagram, at the time of writing.
However, there were rumors that Freddie and his Perfect Match Season 3 cast mate Lucy Syed, who ended the show with Daniel Perfetto, were dating after fans noticed that they both posted Instagram photos from the same place. “Dress code Perfect Match boys mixer- Red Flag behaviour,” Lucy captioned an Instagram post of her posing in front of the same background as Freddie in Los Angeles. “No place I’d rather be,” Freddie captioned his post. Fans also identified Lucy by her shadow in Freddie’s post.
While Madison and Freddie seem to be on good terms, the same can’t be said about Madison’s first match with Temptation Island Season 9 star Cody Wright. “I really liked that Cody was kind of all in on me at first. I mean, I’m a Leo, so we love to see that. But I talked to Louis [Russell], talked to Ollie [Sutherland], and Clayton [Echard], and they all were like, “Oh, yeah, I’m interested in you and so and so.” And when that happens, I’m kind of like, “Okay, go get your girl. I have someone who’s interested in just me.” We did have good conversation, and we did get along at first, and it was fun and flirty, so I think that was kind of my mindset going into that,” she told Swooon.
She continued of when she knew she and Cody weren’t a match: “It was lots of small things. One thing from Love Is Blind that I learned was never date a man who’s gonna put his friends before you. I don’t know if I mean specifically like that way, but put someone else’s feelings in front of yours, or make them more valid, or make them whatever. With Cody, he was so set on trying to… I don’t even know how to describe it. He was trying to be a guy’s guy.”
She also confirmed that Cody was just on Perfect Match for a bromance later in the interview. “You can have your friends, you can have your fun time, whatever, but don’t put me in the middle of it. We had off-camera moments, too, that I just was like, ‘You’re not for me.’ He was just such a complainer. I was like, “If you want to be here for your bros, be here for your bros. That’s fine, but good luck staying in the house being for your bros because I’m not the one.” The whole Louis wanting to go on a date/not wanting to go on a date situation and him just truly defending him instead of just owning up to the fact that he did actually say that.”
The Perfect Match is available to stream on Netflix.
