She was one of The Biggest Loser‘s most popular contestant. Rachel Frederickson won the 15th Season of the NBC weight loss competition, however, she’s keeping a low profile.

The winner’s story recirculated after the premiere of the new Netflix documentary Fit for TV: The Reality Behind the Biggest Loser. During the finale of the season, coaches Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels were visibly stunned by Frederickson’s transformation. She weight 260 pounds at the beginning of the show, and her final weigh in was at 105 pounds. In total, she lost 155 pounds and had a BMI of around 18. Frederickson lost 56.2% of her body weight and is the first and only Bigger Loser winner who ended the series underweight. One journalist described her as having a “now-emaciated body.”

The former competitive swimmer reflected on her journey. “When I stood on stage at the live finale, I had never felt stronger,” she said. I had accomplished everything I wanted to do. I was extremely proud of myself.”

Where Is Rachel Frederickson now?

Rachel Frederickson did not appear in the Netflix documentary. She keeps a very lowkey profile away from social media. According to her LinkedIn obtained by Dextero, she currently lives in her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota as analytics manager for an agricultural company. Her Instagram is set to private, but her bio reads, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live life to the fullest!”

In 2014, she wrote an article for Today describing the backlash and emotions she felt after she won The Biggest Loser. “Comments during the controversial storm following my weight loss were hurtful. My self-esteem once again was affected by other people’s voices — this time, the kind that live forever in Facebook posts or written in the pages of magazines. People tried to bring me down and (privately) succeeded. To the voices of those who tried to lift me up after the finale, I thank you!”

She also revealed that she gained 20 pounds in the time she had left the show. Nonetheless, she tries to keep her head held high when people try to bring her down. “There will always be other voices in life,” she wrote. “The trouble comes when you stop listening to your own. I am committed to trusting my decisions and standing strong behind them. I found strength in this struggle and I am listening to my own voice again!”
