Both Sean and Allyshia earned negative reputations among viewers after their arrivals on the beach. Allyshia’s criticism came after she tried to break up existing couple Kat Izzo and Dale Moss, while Sean faced backlash for his competitive behavior after Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 changed its format to incorporate voting to eliminate couples.

Sean and Allyshia self-eliminated at the seventh Rose Ceremony on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 after their drama with their castmates. “Sean and I came into Paradise looking for love. We didn’t know what else it was going to entail. And the one thing we’re not willing to compromise is our character and integrity, and to have that questioned is very difficult to hear,” Allyshia said. “But we would like to make the decision to leave together on our own accord. We are leaving here with something so much more valuable than money could ever buy and will continue our relationship back in Tampa and get a big fat bucket of popcorn to watch this all back.”

Reality Steve confirmed in August 2025 that Sean and Allyshia are not together after Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 and split after filming ended.

Allyshia also confirmed her and Sean’s relationship status in an interview with Us Weekly at the time, in which she revealed that they remain close friends. “Sean and I are on great terms. We like to have fun with it. It was fun for us,” she said. “Obviously, there were highs and lows of the whole experience, but at the end of the day, the relationships you walk away with are the best part, so Sean and I walked away with a fantastic relationship. One that we continue. I was actually FaceTiming him before coming into this interview, so things are great with him and hopefully things won’t be misconstrued any further. I think things upset Sean a little bit, but we’d said our piece. We’ve made up.”

While Sean and Allyshia are no longer together, Sean revealed in an interview on “Bachelor Happy Hour” that they did try to make their relationship work after leaving the beach together.

“When we got sent home, I was so excited. We were going back to Tampa together. We had talked about leaving in a relationship well prior to us getting eliminated,” Sean said. “Looking back, we were spending like every night sleeping in the same room together, [having] all those like meaningful moments. Even like the episode where Kim gets voted off, I had like a mini date where I’m putting a blindfold on her and feeding her chocolates and stuff like that. There’s all these like integral moments in our relationship that really built it up. You didn’t really see it at all, but I was excited to leave and go back and hang out with her.”

He continued, I though I found the most amazing person. I was incredibly excited about our relationshi. I couldn’t wait to get back to Tampa…” Allyshia also confirmed that she was single in an Instagram post after her and Sean’s self-elimination on Bachelor in Paradise. “Waiting for the man I need, but until then we’re all good because I’ve got my girls,” she wrote.

As of writing, Sean and Allyshia also still follow each other. While Sean remains friends with Allyshia, the same can’t be said about the rest of the cast. According to Reality Steve, Andrew Spencer has called Sean the “greatest Bachelor in Paradise villain of all time” due to his drama with Spencer Conley, Jess Edwards, and Kat Izzo.

According to Reality Steve, Sean tried to turn the house against Spencer and Jess and get them voted off of Bachelor in Paradise. Reality Steve also claimed that Sean accused Kat of having a boyfriend before Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 and going on the show for clout. He also alleged that she contacted him during filming, according to Reality Steve.

Bachelor in Paradise streams on Hulu.
