Warning: Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 spoilers ahead. They may be fan favorites, but are Jonathon and Lea still together from Bachelor in Paradise Season 10? You may be surprised by the answer.
Jonathon Johnson, a 28-year-old from Los Angeles, California, and Lea Cayanan, a 25-year-old also from Los Angeles, were one of the final eight couples on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. Jonathon originally starred on The Bachelorette Season 21 with Jenn Tran, where he came in third place. Lea appeared on The Bachelor Season 28 with Joey Graziadei.
Jonathon was an original contestant on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10—which he was confirmed as part of the cast for during the “After the Final Rose” special on The Bachelorette Season 21—while Lea joined the beach in Week 4. Before Lea arrived, Jonathon had romances with Kat Izzo from The Bachelor Season 26 with Zach Shallcross and Alexe Godin from The Bachelor Season 29 with Grant Ellis.
Once Lea arrived, she gave Jonathon her date card, and the two became fast fan favorites on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. But not for the reason you may think. So are Jonathon and Lea still together from Bachelor in Paradise Season 10? Read on for what we know.

No, Jonathon and Lea are not still together after their elimination on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. Jonathon and Lea split in Episode 6 after Jonathon confessed to his co-stars that he and Lea were just friends. Lea, who was unaware Jonathon felt that way, confronted him at the Rose Ceremony in a now-viral moment of her giving him a rose while telling him, “You’re welcome.” After their drama, the two agreed to stay on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 as a friendship couple in hopes of winning the $500,000 grand prize.
As for Jonathon and Lea’s relationship now, they also confirmed that they were still just friends with several TikToks about their relationship on Bachelor in Paradise. “POV: you’re on BIP & your homeboy piss you off everyday but there’s $500,000 on the line,” Lea wrote over a photo of a lipsync video of her and Jonathon. Jonathon commented on the video, “They should’ve let us vlog from our POV the whole time 😂.”
Jonathon, for his part, also confirmed that he and Lea are just friends with his own lipsync video with her which included the text: “When your guy friend is lowkey the sensitive one.” Lea also confirmed that she left Bachelor in Paradise single in another TikTok of her on the beach with the text: “born to be a lover girl forced to be comedic relief on Bachelor in Paradise and watch all her besties fall in love.” As of writing, Jonathon and Lea still follow each other on Instagram.
Jonathon also told Swooon in July 2025 that he’s no longer in regular contact with Season 21 Bachelorette Jenn Tran, who was on The Bachelor Season 28 with Lea. Jonathon came in third place on Jenn’s season.
“We don’t really talk much anymore,” Jonathon said. “She’s busy, too. She’s still doing the influencing life, she’s still in school, she lives on the other side of America. It’s hard to keep in touch with all that going on.”
He continued, “If we saw each other in person, we’d probably hit it off like best friends again. But other than that, we don’t really chat too much anymore, unfortunately.” As of writing, Jonathon and Jenn also still follow each other on Instagram.
Bachelor in Paradise streams on Hulu.
