The Truth Behind Rumors Love Island USA‘s Bryan Cheated on Amaya Again After the Couple Unfollowed Each Other
Just hours before the Love Island USA Season 7 reunion, another big bombshell dropped. Winners Amaya and Bryan unfollowed each other on Instagram and there have been lots of speculation about their relationship since they left the villa together.
The two confirmed that they would still pursue their relationship outside of the reality show in an interview with Variety after the Love Island USA Season 7 finale in mid-July. “We want to invest and make sure our future is set up for our future family and kids. A vacation is needed,” Amaya said.
The couple opened up to Us Weekly about the future of their relationship on July 22, 2025. “[Amaya and I] are exclusive and taking steps to [be boyfriend and girlfriend],” Bryan said. “We care deeply about each other and we don’t want to rush things. Her happiness is very important. My happiness is very important.”

However, in the trailer for the Love Island USA reunion, host Andy Cohen brought up the fact that Chris was out with Bryan on the night he allegedly cheated on Amaya. Bryan admitted, “I had a lapse in judgment.” But what actually happened?
What was in Bryan’s alleged cheating video?
Fans started to speculate that Bryan had cheated on Amaya when he was pouring liquor in another woman’s mouth in New York City shortly after the finale. In a TikTok video, a fan wrote, “Bryan this is not respectful of you. Strike 1.”
The couple seemed to address the cheating rumor by posting a TikTok of Amaya jumping happily into Bryan’s arms. “When everyone thinks you’re over meanwhile this is us,” he wrote in the caption, tagging Amaya. The two still starred in each other’s social media videos until Aug. 14. The reunion was filmed on Aug. 12. In the trailer, Bryan was over the moon about how much his mom loves her.
Since then, Amaya has reposted several suspicious TikToks that could be alluding to a breakup. “how it feels when you know you have to leave him alone,” and another read, “when I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again.”
Right before the reunion aired on Aug. 25, the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram further sparking breakup rumors. Some TikTokers had alleged that Bryan cheated on Amaya again when a video of him talking to another woman at a restaurant surfaced. However, some people are arguing that it was a friendly meetup since he didn’t look flirty towards the girl he was talking to.
The two have not addressed the breakup, but maybe all questions will be answered after the reunion airs.
