Sarover and Kal immediately clicked in the pods and bonded over their backgrounds: Kal being half-Pakistani and Sarover being Indian. Kal was head over heels when he proposed to Sarover and said, “I know she’s the one because of the excitement I feel before I’m getting to speak to her.” When they emerged out of the pods, Kal was decked out in traditional South Asian wedding attire and their relationship was “meant to be.”

One hurdle that impacted the couple was the fact that Sarover wasn’t Kal’s usual type since he’s only dated white women. What made fans even more skeptical about their relationship was the fact that Kal couldn’t really name the things he liked about her in front of her mother. “I like her posh accent and we both like fitness. Also, she’s beautiful. Good work by the way,” he said.

It seems like Sarover and Kal are still going strong after their wedding. The two don’t follow each other on Instagram, but that’s pretty much protocol for any person who stars in the Netflix reality dating show.
The relationship is solidified after the two blended their cultures together in their wedding ceremony and spoke about each other in their vows. “You’ve encouraged me to speak up for myself,” Sarover tears up. “You’ve made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
On his part, Kal ripped up the card where he wrote his vows and said his feelings straight from the heart. “I want to do these vows in the same way I spoke to you when I first saw you: hands held, eyes locked,” he says. “Sarover, my posh pod princess, I love you.” It’s such a fairytale ending, and we’re rooting for them at the reunion!
