Love Island USA‘s TJ May Have Accidentally Revealed He & Iris Are Back Together After Rumors Pepe Cheated on Her
It would be the rebound every Love Island USA fan wants to see. With the news of Iris and Pepe allegedly being over, one Love Island USA contestant has the opportunity to take one of his connections back. Fans are speculating that TJ is back together with Iris after he dropped this very convincing clue.
Fourth-place couple Iris Kendall and Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzalez coupled up for the first time on Day 16 of the Peacock reality show after both of their strongest connections, Thomas “TJ” Palma and Hannah Fields, were dumped from the island. However right before the reunion, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the two weren’t following each other anymore.

To add to that, rumors swirled of Pepe cheating on Iris. While Iris and Pepe haven’t confirmed the rumors head-on, Ishe seemingly addressed it with an Instagram Story of a sunset set to Fleetwood Mac’s notorious breakup song “Silver Springs.” “Time cast a spell on you, but you won’t forget me / I know I could’ve loved you, but you would not let me / I’ll follow you down ’til the sound of my voice will haunt you / You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you,” the lyrics read.
Are TJ and Iris together after the Love Island USA reunion?
Some fans are speculating that TJ and Iris are together after they spotted a clue on his Snapchat story. During his trip to Disney World, he took a photo of a girl’s hand holding up a pickle that was bit into. On X, people compared the girl’s nails to Iris’ new French nail set. “Iris said she always got a backup plan! never let that man see you sweat!” one person wrote.
However, some fans weren’t buying it. A fan observed, “i have to say guys, those don’t look like the same hands, just look at the nails. it’s not the same type of french. iris’ is more rounded, longer nail beds, shorter nail length.”
When the reunion aired, TJ also made a suspicious post on TikTok where he pulled off a flirty face. All his fans in the comments urged him to go back to Iris. “Go tell iris she knows where home is,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “i know he’s plotting on iris now but i just can’t prove it.”
After the finale, Iris revealed that she met up with TJ in mid-July to clear the air. “TJ and I had an amazing connection in the villa, and it was real, and it was very heartbreaking for me,” Iris told People about the moment he left the villa. “I was definitely sad about it, and I cried for days, and I felt very heartbroken and upset with my friends for not standing behind me. And it felt like my only experience that I had in here so far that it was ripped away from me.”
“I wanted him to know that, mics off, no cameras around, this was real, but also what I have with Pepe is real as well,” she recalled. “I just needed to get that closure with him and have that conversation, because I do care about him, and I think that he was definitely owed a conversation. And I haven’t watched any of the episodes, so I don’t know what he has seen, but I just needed to say — I’m all about honesty, and I think being upfront with people is the best way to go.”
As for the future of their relationship, we’ll see if they’re ready to take the next step and hard launch, if they are indeed supposedly together.
