Warning: Love Is Blind Season 9 spoilers ahead. They were one of six couples to get engaged in The Pods, but before they left for Mexico, Kacie seemed to have made a decision that confused both Patrick, producers, and viewers. So… are Kacie and Patrick still together from Love Is Blind Season 9? The answer may be more complicated than you think.
Kacie McIntosh, a 34-year-old hair and makeup artist, and Patrick Suzuki, a 31-year-old construction manager, got engaged in The Pods on Love Is Blind Season 9, which featured singles from Denver, Colorado. After their engagement, Kacie seemed to inform producers that she wasn’t physically attracted to Patrick enough to continue the show with him. “I just unfortunately don’t think my attraction to him is gonna grow that much, and it sucks. I just know it won’t. And I think it would be so unfair to him to have us go back to Mexico, and then me have to tell him there that I just don’t think I could get there with him, period,” she said in a conversation with producers.
While Kacie didn’t explicitly tell Patrick she was breaking up with him during their final conversation, she did inform him that she didn’t want to go to Mexico. Patrick, for his part, interpreted Kacie’s conversation as her telling him that she wanted to quit Love Is Blind and not end their relationship as she continued to give him physical affection.
In Kacie and Patrick’s last moment on Love Is Blind together, the two shared one last kiss before they said goodbye, with Patrick under the impression that the two were going to continue to date once they returned home to Denver. “Love is patience when times are tough. Hopefully, I get to see her when I get back,” Patrick told producers. So are Kacie and Patrick still together from Love Is Blind?

Kacie and Patrick are not still together from Love Is Blind Season 9 and remain broken up, though they seem to be on good terms. At the time of writing, both Patrick and Kacie still follow each other on Instagram.
Love Is Blind Season 9 filmed around April 2024, according to KDVR, Denver’s local news channel. In October 2024, Kacie confirmed she was single with a TikTok video of her dancing to RAYE and 070 Shake’s “Escapism.” “Always sippin champagne #single,” she captioned the post. She also responded to two men who complimented her in the comments. Since then, Kacie also has posted several other TikToks about her dating life. “‘Ur a cougar.’ God forbid a woman gives back to the youth,” she wrote over a TikTok video of her posing in a chair in April 2025. She captioned the post, “Doing the lords work.”
In another TikTok video, Kacie gave some dating advice to her followers. “I was just listening to this podcast, and I’m about to drop some knowledge for you ladies. If he couldn’t talk, would you still be in love with his actions?” she said. “If he couldn’t talk, would you still be in love with his actions. That’s a no for me, dog.” She captioned the video with #dating and #situationship, which also seemed to confirm that she and Patrick were not still together at the time.
Since Love Is Blind Season 9 premiered, Kacie has faced backlash for sending mixed messages to Patrick during their last conversation. “I’m so confused. Why were you all over dude but saying you weren’t attracted to him? Full-on lip locking when there’s no attraction from your side is crazy business,” a user commented on her Instagram. Another user wrote, “I’m so sad for Patrick. You lost a good one 😔.”
Kacie and Patrick also confirmed they weren’t still together in an interview with Tudum, in which Kacie claimed that her attraction to Patrick wasn’t based on how he looked. “Immediately, my guard is going up. I’m still trying to process the emotions of the reveal. I felt like it went good, and I’m going to sleep that night thinking we’re going to Mexico, and for her to say she wanted to go back home, that definitely raised an initial red flag. I was trying to hide a lot of the emotions,” she said of the reveal.
“He’s a handsome guy,” she continued. “It was more about him being a stranger in my arms than it was what he looks like.” Despite what happened, Patrick told Tudum that he was still grateful for his experience on Love Is Blind. “It definitely cleaned up a lot of insecurities,” he said. “I wouldn’t have [done that] without Kacie. Going through the reveal really helped me break free from everything that I’ve been dealing with for many, many years.”
Kacie also confirmed to Tudum that she didn’t have any regrets about the experience. “I’m very happy I accepted the proposal,” she said. “I just felt like I had to stay true to exactly how I was feeling at the time. I never lied to Patrick about how I was feeling. I am proud of myself for being very honest, not going somewhere and acting some way just to basically remain on a TV show.”
