Warning: Love Island Games Season 2 spoilers ahead. After weeks of challenges, duels, and recouplings, Love Island Games Season 2 has officially found its winner, but “are Lucinda and Isaiah still together?” is the real question.
Lucinda Strafford, a 25-year-old originally from Love Island UK Season 7, and Isaiah Campbell, a 24-year-old from Love Island USA Season 4, were two original islanders who joined Love Island Games Season 2 on Day 1. They coupled up on Day 8 after Lucinda’s original connection, Mert Okatan from Love Island Nederland & Belgie, was eliminated and Isaiah friendzoned his original connection, Nicola Gauci Borda-Warr from Love Island Malta Season 2.
Lucinda and Isaiah stayed together until the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, where they were announced as the winners over runners-up (and Love Island Games Season 1’s winner) Justine Ndiba from Love Island USA Season 2 and Tyrique Hyde from Love Island UK Season 10. Lucinda and Isaiah also beat third-place finalists (and Isaiah’s ex-girlfriend) Sydney Paight from Love Island USA Season 4 and Toby Aromolaran from Love Island UK Season 7.

Lucinda and Isaiah’s win was controversial; however, to fans who believed that the two coasted throughout most of the competition and criticized Lucinda for her treatment of Garbi Denteh from Love Island Nederland & Belgie Season 4 earlier in the season. “can’t believe the micro aggressive queen won omg 😭,” a user commented on an Instagram video of Lucinda and Isaiah after their win. Another user wrote, “Congrats to zay and zay only.” One more user commented, “They cruised all season. Justice for Andrea and Josh.” So are Lucinda and Isaiah still together from Love Island Games Season 2? See what we know so far.

Lucinda and Isaiah are not still together after Love Island Games Season 2. Days after the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, Mert hinted that he Lucinda were back together with a TikTok of them at the airport. “Y’all thought it was over,” Mert wrote over the video. He captioned it “lol” and set the video to Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.”
Before Lucinda’s reunion with Mert, she and Isaiah revealed their plans to still date post-show after their win on Love Island Games Season 2. “Obviously, having a great romantic connection here, I think benefited more than I thought it would,” Isaiah said. Lucinda added, “I wanted to [win] for Zay, as much as I wanted to do it for myself.”
Given that they live in different countries, Lucinda and Isaiah would’ve had a difficult time staying together. Lucinda lives in London, England, while Isaiah is in Miami, Florida. Distance is also the reason that most couples on reality TV dating shows, including Love Island USA, break up, so Lucinda and Isaiah have an uphill battle. After Love Island USA Season 5, runners-up Kassy Castillo and Leonardo Dionicio announced that they had split due to the distance between them. (Kassy is from Fort Worth, Texas, while Leo is from West Hartford, Connecticut.)
She continued, “Everything was real and genuine, that’s what makes it harder now. Breakups suck. All that I ask is for everyone to give us time because it’s so new. I care for him so much and I wish it didn’t go this way but I really do think this is for the best. I hope soon… who knows? I’m open to anything in the future but it’s just not aligning. He doesn’t deserve any harsh words or comments.”
While Lucinda and Isaiah live in separate countries and may have faced the same fate as Leo and Kassy, it was also possible for their relationship to work long distance, like Season 6’s runners-up, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. Leah is from Los Angeles, California, while Miguel is from London, United Kingdom.
In an interview with StyleCaster in February 2025, Leah explained that she and Miguel made their relationship work post-Love Island USA because Miguel almost immediately moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her. “It’s always been my dream to have a barn so I can take in foster animals,” Leah told StyleCaster about her and Miguel’s plans to build a house together. “Miguel gets to pick one animal. He wants a cow. I want fainting goats.” At the time of writing, Lucinda and Isaiah also follow each other on Instagram.
