Are Justine & Tyrique Still Together From Love Island Games? He’s Her ‘Favorite’ Partner She’s Had So Far

Warning: Love Island Games Season 2 spoilers ahead. She didn’t make history with three wins, but are Justine and Tyrique still together from Love Island Games Season 2? She called him her “favorite” partner of all three Love Island seasons she’s been on.
Justine Ndiba, a 32-year-old from Love Island USA Season 2, and Tyrique Hyde, a 26-year-old from Love Island UK Season 10, were the runners-up of Love Island Games Season 2. Justine entered the villa on Day 3 while Tyrique was an original islander. They coupled up on Day 8 and stayed together until the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, where they came in second place to winners Isaiah Campbell from Love Island USA Season 4 and Lucinda Strafford from Love Island UK Season 7.

If Justine were to win Love Island Games Season 2, she would’ve made history as the first contestant to win the series twice after coming in first in Season 1 with Jack Fowler from Love Island UK Season 4. She also won Love Island USA season 2 with Caleb Corpew. Though Justine and Tyrique didn’t win Season 2, they still left with a “connection” with each other. But are they still together now?
Are Justine and Tyrique still together from Love Island Games Season 2?
While Lucinda and Isaiah haven’t confirmed their relationship status, at the time of writing, they hinted at their plans to still date post-show in their final interview on Love Island Games Season 2. “There’s definitely a connection. Do you know what I’m saying? I’m not trying to not put too much pressure on it,” Tyrique said. Justine added, “I will say, even though we didn’t win, I feel like Tyrique was probably my favorite Love Island couple of all three seasons.” Tyrique then asked, “Even though we lost?” to which Justine responded, “Even though we lost.”
Though Justine and Tyriqe are seemingly still together, at the time of writing, whether they stay together is another question, given that they live in different countries. Tyrique lives in Essex, England, while Justine resides in Los Angeles, California. Distance is also the reason that most couples on reality TV dating shows, including Love Island USA, break up, so Tyrique and Justine have an uphill battle. After Love Island USA Season 5, runners-up Kassy Castillo and Leonardo Dionicio announced that they had split due to the distance between them. (Kassy is from Fort Worth, Texas, while Leo is from West Hartford, Connecticut.)
She continued, “Everything was real and genuine, that’s what makes it harder now. Breakups suck. All that I ask is for everyone to give us time because it’s so new. I care for him so much and I wish it didn’t go this way but I really do think this is for the best. I hope soon… who knows? I’m open to anything in the future but it’s just not aligning. He doesn’t deserve any harsh words or comments.”
While Tyrique and Justine live in separate countries and could face the same fate as Leo and Kassy, it’s also possible for their relationship to work long distance, like Season 6’s runners-up, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. Leah is from Los Angeles, California, while Miguel is from London, United Kingdom.
In an interview with StyleCaster in February 2025, Leah explained that she and Miguel made their relationship work post-Love Island USA because Miguel almost immediately moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her. “It’s always been my dream to have a barn so I can take in foster animals,” Leah told StyleCaster about her and Miguel’s plans to build a house together. “Miguel gets to pick one animal. He wants a cow. I want fainting goats.”
At the time of writing, Tyrique and Justine also follow each other on Instagram, which is a good sign of their relationship.
