Warning: Love Island Games Season 2 spoilers ahead. They were the villains of Season 2, but are Johnny and Gabby still together from Love Island Games after their not-so-surprising elimination by America’s vote in the finale? There’s a massive turn of events.
Johnny Middlebrooks, a 27-year-old from Love Island USA Season 2, and Gabby Allen, a 33-year-old from Love Island UK Season 3, came in fourth place in the Love Island Games Season 2 finale after they received the fewest votes from America going into the Megaduel. Johnny entreed the villa on Day 3 while Gabby joined on Day 9. They coupled up on Day 9 after Johnny shockingly left his former connection with Andreina Santos-Marte from Love Island USA Season 7 to be with Gabby, whom he deemed as a stronger competitor. As a result, Andreina was eliminated days later in a duel.

While Johnny and Gabby were fierce contestants, having won their first challenge together as a couple and becoming the leaders of the first “Power Squad” on Love Island Games, they also earned the “villain” title from fans who criticized Johnny’s strategic moves and overly competitive behavior. (Along with Love Island, Johnny has also appeared on House of Villains Season 3.) So are Johnny and Gabby still together from Love Island Games Season 2? He’s continuing to live up to his villain title.

Johnny and Gabby are not still together from Love Island Games Season 2. The two’s Love Island Games castmates, Tyrique Hyde from Love Island UK Season 10 and Toby Aromolaran from Love Island UK Season 7, confirmed on Snapchat that Johnny had rekindled his romance with Andreina after the Love Island Games Season 2 finale.
“True love always wins,” Tyrique captioned a Snapchat photo of Johnny and Andreina at the airport after the Season 2 finale. “Love always prevails,” Toby captioned his own Snapchat photo of Johnny and Andreina at the airport together.
In an interview with Swooon in October 2025, Andreina explained that she and Johnny had such an instant romantic connection on Love Island Games because they had a prior relationship before the show. “That’s why I liked him so much, so fast, because we already talked before Love Island Games,” she said. “Then I met him at a party, and he was obsessed with me,” she said. “And, I mean, I liked him, too, and we just had chemistry right away.”
She continued, “We used to talk pretty much every day for a little while, and we never got too deep. Like, we never got intimate, but we did kiss before Love Island Games. And we used to spend time together just as friends, so that’s why I was so shocked when he betrayed me.”
She also explained that the two stopped talking about two months before Love Island Games. “I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot, so I don’t want to get intimate,” she explained. “Like, I want to do things the right way.”
She also revealed that she was warned not to date him by Love Island USA Season 6 contestant Daniela Ortiz-Rivera. “She was like, ‘Oh, girl, no, he’s a player,” Andreina said. “If you watch his past shows, he’s changed girls like it was underwear. Don’t go there.’”
Andreina also claimed that she discussed Johnny’s “player” rumors with him before filming, which he got offended by. “‘It was out of my control, but I treat you so well,’” she recalled him telling her. “‘So I don’t know why you would think that I will do that to you.”
Since her elimination, Andreina revealed that she had received DMs from viewers telling her she should’ve known Johnny would’ve turned on her. “But I thought I was going to be different because, one, we had history before, and two, because I brought it up to him so many times, and I was completely blindsided. Like, every time he would say, ‘No, I wouldn’t do that to you,'” she said.
She continued, “So, to me, it was kind of a surprise when I watched back, seeing him talking that way about me with the guys, when I know that we did have a connection because before Love Island Games. We used to talk all the time, and all we had were conversations because I didn’t want to get intimate with him, so we used to literally hang out and just talk.”
She also told Swooon that she didn’t plan to speak to Johnny again once out of the villa. “I told him this, I was like, ‘I’m ready to literally forget that you are a person,’” she recalled. “And the first thing I did when I got my phone back was delete his number, delete him from my social media. I don’t want to see him, and I don’t want anything to do with Johnny,” she said.
