Dakota and Taylor had a whirlwind of a relationship ever since their prominence on MomTok. Now, the ex-couple had to face a new revelation that pulled out the waterworks for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star.
Taylor confirmed the breakup from Dakota in an Instagram Story in January 2025, admitting that she still cried “every day” from the split. “That’s grief, let it through so it can pass and you can heal,” she wrote. “The more you resist the pain coming through, the longer the suffering, learned this the hard way.” However, the two ended up having bouts of reconciliation at Stagecoach, but the scandal seemed to shut the door on any possibility. “This is not mendable. It was discovered that Dakota was sexting another woman after their breakup. And while it wasn’t considered cheating, it did break some friendships.

Jesse’s husband Jordan recounted the incident on a car ride during Stagecoach festival. “During one of the times they were broken up, [Taylor’s mom] Liann’s friend reached out to him and was just checking in on him. He felt it was a safe place, and she started hitting on him, and it turned kind of sexual,” he explains.

He lip-synced to an audio from the show Friends where Ross (David Schwimmer) heavily emphasized that he and Rachel were on a break. The caption read, “Also never touched another woman ever.” However, some of the Momon Wives didn’t take it as a joke and defended their friend while she was filming The Bachelorette.
