Everything is going to be golden for Scarab on The Masked Singer. The masked celeb gave her all in the first episode of Season 14, and we have a pretty firm grasp on who her identity is.
Scarab sang a very soulful rendition of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” and whisked the audience away. The judges threw around Hollywood royalty like Whoopi Goldberg, Viola Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, but we think they weren’t even close to who we were thinking. It’s pretty ironic considering that this celeb’s name has been very much used in past guesses. Her sass pretty much sealed the deal on our guesses.

Everyone (but the judges) is convinced that Scarab is Taraji P. Henson. Take a look at her very impressive career clues below.
Taraji P. Henson starred in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt and is a Prince superfan. She also helped greenlight an Empire tribute episode to the star.
The actress won a Golden Globe for her role as Loretha (Cookie) Lyon in Empire in 2015.
It’s no surprise the judges say Taraji P. Henson’s name almost every season, but “say the name three times, and I appear” clue comes out so strongly, it must be her.
