Bridgerton‘s Luke Thompson Is Reportedly Dating His Co-Star as Fans Ship Him With Yerin Ha
While Bridgerton takes its own spin on the beloved tale of Cinderella for Season 4, many fans of the Netflix regency show might be wondering if Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha are dating outside of their TV show.
Luke Thompson returns as the second-oldest Bridgerton son, Benedict, while Yerin Ha joins the cast as the downtrodden Sophie Baek. The two met for the first time after they did very well in their chemistry read over Zoom. “He just immediately had his arms open and gave a long hug, and I [thought], ‘Oh, you’re a nice person. You have a heart of gold,’” Ha recalled of their first meeting in an interview with Town and Country. “I’m a big believer in energy, and I was like, ‘I think you match mine.’”

The two clicked instantly. “We’d only started to get to know each other, but it felt like we’d worked together for a much longer time,” Thompson told InStyle. “Yerin is just the ideal scene partner: consummate professional, takes the work seriously but not herself, subtle, interested, with a terrific sense of humor. What more could you ask for?”
Even before the season premiered, and when Ha’s casting was announced, some die-hard Bridgerton fans called for them to be together. “i don’t care if this is parasocial i NEED luke thompson and yerin ha to be single during the press for bridgerton season 4. it’s time for the show with some of the best chemistry on tv to actually have a couple get together!!!” one fan wrote.

No, Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha are not dating outside of their Bridgerton roles. Both actors have kept their personal lives private, whether on social media or during interviews.
Thompson told Country and Townhouse that he’s pretty much not on social media for his own well-being. “I don’t really find [fame] weird. I think it can be,” the actor confessed. “I feel it’s more of a choice than people make it out to be. I think if you want to stay private, you can do it.”
However, the Daily Mail reported that Luke Thompson was dating his Bridgerton costar Harriet Cains, who plays Philippa Featherington, who’s the sister of Penelope. However, neither person has confirmed nor denied the rumors.
