Are Go-eun & Sung-min Still Together From Single’s Inferno? What Happened After Her Unexpected Selection
Kim Go-eun had quite the ride on Single’s Inferno Season 5. The model had a tough time choosing between three men throughout her run on the island, but she ultimately chose someone with whom she’s comfortable.
Go-eun had a mission to find the right one from the moment that she walked through the sands of Inferno. She caught the eye of Shin Hyeon-woo and Woo Sung-min, and later the bombshell actor Jo I-geon. Go-eun and I-geon struck a connection in Paradise multiple times, even moreso as the model revealed that she had mutual friends with him.
Kim Go-eun caught the panelists by surprise when she chose Woo Sung-min over Jo I-geon. She had a great time at Paradise with the latter, but I-geon did mention that he was still attracted to Lee Ha-eun multiple times.
She ultimately chose Sung-min because of his little moments of affection. “He took care of me in these subtle ways. He always found little ways to show how he felt about me,” she says when she chooses her final pick.

Like every couple that has appeared on the show, the two don’t appear to follow each other on Instagram right after the show aired. However, they might break their silence soon.
Some fans criticized the show’s editing for not showing enough of their bond. “I think the editing for Go-eun and Sung min made it seem like them choosing each other at the end felt random,” one fan wrote on X. “They should have showed them more especially if they would end up together. They edited them in a way that felt like they had no chemistry #singlesinferno5”
Though the edit might seem unfair, a couple of Reddit users also noticed that Go-eun was wearing some of Sung-min’s clothes when they were in the inferno together. Other fans are cheering for the couple, and are calling I-geon’s move the “Biggest fumble in the history of singles inferno.” Ouch.
