I don’t know about you, but Saltburn has sparked more conversation in the girls’ group chat than anything else I can think of in recent memory. Now, some genius has decided to distill a particular moment from the film into wax you can burn, and if you’re a sexy freak or have a friend who is, here’s where to buy the Jacob Elordi bathwater candle. Because if you know, you know.
In the Emerald Fennell-directed film, Elordi takes on the role of the aloof, privileged hot boy Felix Catton; Barry Keoghan plays the nervous, unpopular Oliver Quick. Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, Oliver finds himself drawn into the world of the charming aristocrat Felix, who invites him to Saltburn—his eccentric family’s sprawling estate—for a summer never to be forgotten. His infatuation with Felix consumes him (and, as the film would have it, he consumes it. More on that in a second).

You need to see the film to fully understand how it’s put social media in a chokehold (love it or hate it), but basically Felix has a moment of ahem, intimacy with himself, in the bath as Oliver secretly watches. As the bath water drains, Oliver climbs into the tub and slurps up residual liquid.
“What I’m saying with that scene,” Fennell told People, “is I think that scene is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen in my life … And I’m saying that anyone else is safe to feel that.” She continued: “We wanted to present the feeling of that locust love: impossible, carnivorous, forever, impossible vampire love. I think that that is what we did and every single person making this film did the most unbelievable job.”
“I was just really excited when I read that scene because you don’t really see things like that in mainstream movies a lot of the time,” Elordi told StreamWars. He told Variety earlier that: “I was like, ‘Thank God, it’s mine,’” he said. “I was very proud. I was very proud to have Barry guzzling it like that.”
You can buy the Jacob Elordi bath water candle from Amazon for $35. It’s 16.5oz and made using soy wax, boasting roughly 100 hours of burn time. You can choose from 18 scents and customize the lid color, too. You can also buy the candle from Etsy for $26.40.
Keoghan joked to Variety that he has made several purchases. “I already have 10 of them,” he quipped at the opening of the Louis Vuitton pop-up in West Hollywood. “They’re all burning at my house right now.” Who could blame him?
