Single's Inferno
Netflix

Keep coming back for more. If you’ve finished the tumultuous and shocking finale of the South Korean dating show, you might be wondering if there’s a Single’s Inferno reunion on the way.

Single’s Inferno debuted in 2021 and skyrocketed to be one of Netflix’s most-watched reality TV shows due to the shocking and dramatic nature. 12 contestants are put on a deserted island called “Inferno” and compete through challenges to couple up. Once a desired couple is matched, they are sent to “Paradise” which is a fancy luxury hotel where they could be able to get to know one another. Along with all the suspense and pairing, a set of panelists comment on the show including comedian Hong Jin-kyung, actress Lee Da-hee, Super Junior member Kyuhyun, rapper Hanhae, and YouTuber and season 2 alum Dex.

In an interview with Netflix Tudum, producer Kim Na-hyun shared if there’s room for the cast to be in touch with each other after they leave the island. “I see them interacting on Instagram, so I think it’s safe to say that they’re still in contact. Because they spent eight nights and nine days on an island together, where they not only built relationships but also friendships, they are probably still close.”

After the finale, the cast of Single’s Inferno 3 posted photos on Instagram of their time in Inferno. It seems like they’re all still very close and some of the men on the show have visited each other on dinner dates. So is a Single’s Inferno season 3 reunion a possibility? Here’s what we know of the cast’s whereabouts.

Will There Be a Single’s Inferno Reunion For Season 3?

Netflix hasn’t confirmed of a Single’s Inferno season 3 reunion. After season 2 of the dating show, Netflix K-Content posted Single’s Inferno 2 reunion videos on Youtube where the cast of that season reacted to what was shown on the show. It’s not known whether Netflix will continue the tradition, but we can only hope!

In one of his first interviews after appearing on the show, Gwan-hee revealed that the cast is close with each other. “We talk to each other and are getting along,” he told South Korea’s Osen. “I can’t tell you everything in detail, but all of the contestants keep in touch and get along well. Of course, I am also getting along fine with Choi Hye Seon, but I am careful not to reveal too much.”

In a thank you note to his fans, Gwan-hee posted on his Instagram the day the finale aired with the last picture being of him with Hye-seon. “Hmmm.. I remember a long time ago, and when I watch the broadcast, I think of a lot of people,” his Instagram translation read. “I may not have won the sympathy of my frankly appearance, but I have no regrets about the way I showed more honestly than anyone else. There are so many things I want to say, but today I want to thank the actors and staff who came and shared their hearts with me. 👍 See you again soon. It’s in the middle of the season. Please come to support LG Sakers at Changwon Indoor Gymnasium”

Won-ik also posted a very sentimental post about his time in Inferno. “The summer of 2023 is something I’ll never forget. ‘Single’s Inferno’ introduced me to incredible individuals, and I intend to cherish and maintain those bonds,” he wrote on Instagram. The show ‘Single’s Inferno’ felt like an enchanting dreamy summer night. I’m grateful to the production team who made it possible for me to experience such dreamlike moments. I’m also deeply appreciative of everyone who watched over and showed interest in my journey, no matter the circumstances!🙆‍♂️❤️” Min-kyu made a video of him thanking all the supporters for cheering him up and a post where he thanks all his fans including the staff. “It was really so hot, but all the Solji officials, PDs, writers who worked hard in the dust, well done.” Jin-seok made a post with the caption, “Great job !”

Ha-bin posted, “Produced in the heat of summer, the cast and cast members worked hard!
I think it will be more memorable than any summer. (In the future, let’s not forget to spray sun spray during summer activities. I’ll die of heat.. 😂😅) I have felt and learned a lot in many ways. Thank you! 🤟”

Meanwhile, Si-eun was short and sweet about her memories. “Our story was like a midsummer night’s dream, a translated Instagram caption read on her photo. “Thank you all for watching and showing so much love and love you all.”

Ha-jeong thanked all the fans who watched the show. “Your incredible support has truly touched my heart,” she wrote. “I’m immensely grateful for your love and encouragement—it means everything to me😘 Thank you for making this experience unforgettable!”

Min-ji was quite reflective in her thank you note and referenced her Dipsy-like dress. “Thank you so much to all the viewers who cried and laughed along with Single’s Inferno s3 for five weeks. It was such a grateful and valuable opportunity for me to look at myself from others‘ point of view, and I’m willing to take the criticism you gave me to be a better person. To all the cast and staff members, I can‘t thank you enough for making my summer unforgettable. It was a glorious and precious moment for me.”

Single’s Inferno is available to stream on Netflix.
