Fox

It’s finally time for the big reveal. With only two contestants left in the game show, we finally found out who the Masked Singer season 11 winner is.

The Masked Singer is based on South Korea’s King of the Mask Singer, which follows a similar format. Since the premiere of The King of the Mask Singer in 2015, The Masked Singer has expanded to dozens of countries across the world including France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil. “It was flypaper TV right from the get-go,” The Masked Singer executive producer Craig Plestis told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019 about why he wanted to produce the show in the United States. “I just knew right away this was a special show. It was unbelievable in its appeal — and the game play, spectacle, family-viewing…[and] it was this huge hit in Asia…. If we do the job here, it should work here.”

Goldfish on The Masked Singer Season 11 is Vanessa Hudgens, an actress and singer best known for movies like the High School Musical franchise. Goldfish sang “vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo, who Hudgens shares a role with. They both played Gabriella in High School Musical and the Disney+ spinoff High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

In her clues, Goldfish also revealed how acting and music affected her relationships. “Sometimes the most transformative moments are actually breakups. I always thought I would be married young, like my mom, but dating in Hollywood is hard, and this Goldfish wasn’t always lucky.” Hudgens was in two different high-profile relationships with her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron and fellow actor Austin Butler.

Other clues include a vampire bat, and holding up a snowglobe that may allude to her dual role in The Princess Switch. “When you’re young and suddenly a role model, there’s a lot of expectations,” Goldfish lamented of her overnight fame.

Who's Gumball on The Masked Singer

Scott Porter, an actor best known for shows like Friday Night Lights and Heart of Dixie, is Gumball on The Masked Singer Season 11. As for why, he’s dropped some very obvious hints about his career. Visual clues included angel wings and a halo, the moon, the globe as a bowling ball, and a prom king sash.

“I’ve always felt like I was pretending to be something else. My family moved around a lot as a kid, and as the perpetual new guy, I would do anything to make friends. Even when I started performing on stage, I always felt out of place. I have no formal training, no education.”

Porter confirmed in an interview with Theater Mania in 2010 that he never studied theater before his career as an actor. “My high school in Florida didn’t have the budget for drama classes. See, that’s what happens when states cut arts budgets,” he said. “I’ve been fortunate my entire career to work with outstanding performers, and I’m actually the type of person who learns more from watching than from being told. Plus, I grew up in a very musical family; my dad plays drums and my mom was a singer.”
