Love Island USA’s Harrison Is Back in the Villa—This Is Why Viewers Aren’t Happy
Harrison Hans Luna is back in the Love Island USA villa for season 6 in a move that fans are not happy about. The South Australian diamond dealer is a divisive figure who made his debut in the show in season 5 and was eliminated on day 15. While he didn’t stick around for long, there was plenty of drama to talk about.

As a latecomer to the villa, Harrison disrupted existing relationships and dynamics. His arrival caused tension among the contestants, particularly because he garnered interest from multiple women, creating competition and jealousy. Now, with his return to Casa Amor as a bombshell alongside fellow season 5 alum, Kassy, fans are none too pleased.
What happened to Harrison in Love Island USA season 5?
In season 5, Harrison coupled up with Destiny Davis and later grew a connection with Emily Chavez. Harrison and Emily were dumped on day 15 in a controversial move that caused fans to think the show was rigged.
In a twist, the “safe” islanders got to choose which couple was axed, making viewers question why they were asked to vote in the first place. “The fact that Destiny and Bergie are still here blows my mind. The producers have rigged the ‘voting,'” wrote one on the show’s official Instagram page. Another displeased fan wrote, “This season ALL the best ppl have gone home.” A third said, “What was the point of asking America to vote and then turn it over to the cast??”
Reflecting on his elimination, Harrison told PopCulture, “Maybe I feel like the way that Leo went about his move around from Kassy to Anna, then Anna to Kassy… I don’t know, that rubbed me up the wrong way, and he was the first to say that he went about it wrong, but I would think that that sort of to and fro is not, I guess not conducive to Love Island and heading in the direction of something serious with that person… Unfortunately, I just didn’t have a close enough connection with the other girls in the villa, so I was on the chopping block.”
When the show announced that Harrison would be returning to the villa for season 6 as a bombshell, some viewers complained that he didn’t make for good watching. “He’s great on the eyes but his personality was as flat as a pancake last year,” wrote one in the /LoveIsland Reddit. “He’s cardboard in a speedo,” said another.
A third commented, “I was so goddamn disappointed when Harrison popped up on my screen I was like “yall…… were there really no other options?” Not that I have anything against the guy I’m sure he is great but he was soooooo boring last year and I genuinely forgot about him sooo fast.”
