Warning: Love Island USA Season 6 spoilers ahead. After countless tears, makeups, breakups, and “fawk Aarons!” in the villa, Kaylor and Aaron’s time on Love Island USA Season 6 has come to an end. But are they still together now that they’re on the outside world?
Kaylor Martin, a 22-year-old from Connellsville, Pennsylvania, and Aaron Evans, a 26-year-old from North Devon, United Kingdom, were two of 12 original islanders who arrived in the villa on day one of Love Island USA Season 6. They coupled up at the first coupling and remained together until their elimination on day 30 in the final dumping before the Love Island USA Season 6 finale. Aaron and Kaylor were sent home in fifth and sixth place, along with their Kassy Castillo and Rob Rausch, who coupled up on Day 27.

Kaylor and Aaron were one of two couples on Love Island USA Season 6 who had been coupled up since day one, along with Kordell Beckham and Serena Page. Though they never coupled up with anyone else, Kaylor and Aaron did face drama after Casa Amor when Kaylor learned that he had kissed and essentially cheated on her with bombshell Daniela Ortiz-Rivera. The infidelity led Kaylor to choose to be single at the first recoupling after Casa Amor, though she later forgave Aaron and they recoupled and stayed together until their elimination. But where are they now?

Kaylor confirmed she and Aaron were no longer together in a TikTok video shared by a fan before the Love Island USA Season 6 reunion on August 14, 2024. “Aaron and I are not OK,” she told fans outside her hotel. “We are done, we are not together.”
Kaylor previously hinted at her and Aaron’s split in a TikTok video on August 11, 2024, in which she called herself “single.” “If you are single, there is one thing you should always take out with you on a Saturday night. Your friends,” Kaylor lip-synced a quote from Sex and the City‘s Carrie Bradshaw. Kaylor captioned the video, “Hard post.” Kaylor also briefly unfollowed and refollowed Aaron at the time, sparking more breakup rumors.
Kaylor and Aaron previously told the “BFFs” podcast on July 31, 2024 that they were on the rocks after Kaylor “finally” watched Love Island USA Season 6’s Casa Amor episodes. “My perspective definitely has changed since whenever I was in the villa to now, just because I see absolutely everything Aaron did in Casa Amor, and I feel like the little things kind of mean more to me,” Kaylor said, admitting that she was “emotionally drained” from the Aaron drama. “Like the stomach kisses in the morning and the breakfast and then also I saw Aaron break things off with Daniela and then…lean in for a kiss, and all of those things have changed my perspective.”
She continued, “So leaving and watching it and hearing my girlfriends be like, ‘Kaylor, what the f—? You didn’t stick up for yourself. You weren’t there for you.’ And also I relate to them, because I feel like, most of all, I feel like I wasn’t there for myself and that – it definitely hurt and I definitely feel differently [than] I did in the villa about everything.”
Kaylor admitted that, while she and Aaron were still together at the time, watching Casa Amor made her want to “take a step back” from her relationship with Aaron. “I just wanna take things really slow. I don’t wanna end things, because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real, but I feel like I just gave him chance after chance … and it wasn’t even all of the Casa thing, it was just more so him not taking accountability like Kordell [Beckham] did, which really hurt.” she said.
She continued, “I don’t wanna give up on us but I definitely have my doubts and I was telling Aaron the other day, I have trust issues now and I don’t wanna be that toxic person in this relationship.”
Aaron, for his part, told the podcast that he wanted to “make it work” with Kaylor and admitted that he’s confident they’ll “be able to get through” their issues. “I’m willing to work through it and I completely understand why Kaylor feels the that way she does. Her feelings are completely valid,” he said. “I understand why she’s got doubts, I understand why she’s got trust issues, I understand why all of America doesn’t like me because I don’t even like me, watching all the back, I hated watching [those] clips back. It was actually horrible, so I completely understand how and why she feels the way she does.”
Aaron and Kaylor first confirmed they were still together in their first Instagram Story together after getting dumped from Love Island USA Season 6. “Thanks for all the support. Starting my villain era,” Aaron captioned a photo of him with Kaylor on the couch. At the time of writing, Kaylor and Aaron also follow each other on Instagram, another sign they’re still together.

Kaylor also tagged Aaron in her first Instagram post after their elimination on Love Island USA Season 6. “I am beyond blessed to have been introduced to such amazing people this summer!” she wrote. “I am so grateful to have met such a beautiful group of people who will be my forever family! Thank you all for the support from my emotional breakdowns (litterally every episode) to my dysfunctional self! 🩷🏝️ love island s6 will forever be a part of my life!”

Aaron also confirmed he and Kaylor were still together at the time in an Instagram Story Q&A the day after their dumping on Love Island USA Season 6. “In the words of Kaylor Martin, it’s better to be hated than…” Aaron said before Kaylor finished the sentence by saying, “Forgotten.”
During the Q&A, Kaylor also addressed speculation that she and Aaron broke up after she seemingly deleted her Instagram. “I didn’t delete it! It got deactivated. So if anybody can help me get it back, that would be absolutely lovely. I want Instagram so badly back,” she said.
At the end of the Q&A, Aaron seemingly accused producers of trying to test him and Kaylor when asked whether starring on The Traitors UK or Love Island USA was more difficult emotionally. (Aaron was one of three winners on Season 1 of The Traitors UK in 2022.) “Love Island USA, the stronger you are as a couple, the more they challenge you. I can’t say that much about it because we’re not allowed. But they will challenge you so hard, so that is definitely an aspect that I didn’t think about going into it, but I met Kaylor and that’s the bit. So I’m happy,” he said.
Given the short amount of time between when Love Island USA filmed and when Kaylor and Aaron’s elimination aired, Kaylor and Aaron weren’t together for long. Voting ended for the final dumping of Love Island USA Season 6 on July 16, 2024, while Kaylor and Aaron’s elimination aired in the episode on July 19, 2024, which meant that, at the time the episode was released, Aaron and Kaylor had only been out of the villa for a day or two. Love Island USA Season 6 contestant Coye Simmons also confirmed to The Sun that episodes air only a “matter of days” after they happen.
Regardless of their drama, it was unlikely Kaylor and Aaron would stay together. Only three Love Island USA couples are still together today—Season 5 winners Hannah and Marco; Season 5 finalists Bergie and Taylor; and Season 3 runners-up Kyra and Will—which means that the chance Kaylor and Aaron stay together is low. There are also no Love Island USA couples still together who weren’t finalists. (As a reminder, Kaylor and Aaron were eliminated in fifth and sixth place, along with Kassy and Rob.)

There was also the issue of distance, which seems to be the main reason that many Love Island couples across all franchises break up. Aaron is from North Devon, United Kingdom, while Kaylor is from Connellsville, Pennsylvania. The only Love Island USA couple who are still together from different countries are Kyra and Will. (Kyra is from Honolulu, Hawaii, while Will is from Medllin, Colombia.)
What Kaylor and Aaron did have going for them, however, is that they were both day one islanders All the Love Island USA couples who are still together have at least one day one islander. Kyra and Will are the only couple where both members are day one islanders.
Kaylor’s mother, Kara Kaylor-Stewart, also isn’t a fan of Aaron. Though she seemed to approve of him during the family video calls in Episode 33, she slammed him on Facebook on July 4 following his actions in Casa Amor. “My heart bleeds for you baby girl and wish I could take the pain/hurt you will endure. Kaylor, your a strong advocate for empowering your loved ones, having faith and trusting one another and most of all …your loyality to your friends and invested allegiance to do whatever it takes for them to feel joy, experience peace and serenity ….a God given Asset you were blessed with!” she wrote. “Honestly, I was shocked initially when you selected Aaron for a courtship..the absence of physical traits/appearance you’d otherwise insist on or MUST HAVE, prior to considering date potential….and even more astounding…his fragile emotion dysfunction, a caveat to Verbal outbursts, tantrums , utter disrespect and consistent crying bouts reminiscent of a hormonal teenage boy…sincere concern….just sayin!!”
She continued, “ My beautiful girl, be thankful for laughter and novel experiences you & Aaron shared and be grateful that his self-serving motives, and ingenuity are blatant & transparent for the world to see now, not later. Always routing for you #teamKaylor 🏆”
Kaylor and Aaron’s Love Island USA Season 6 cast mate, Liv Walker, also hinted to Us Weekly that she didn’t think Aaron and Kaylor will last. “I don’t like how he takes her personality of putting others before her for granted. I’ve seen situations where he’ll throw in the word ‘love’ when they’re kind of having a little argument and it’s like, ‘That’s not the right time,’” Liv said. “I know, maybe, he said it out of emotion and none of us are perfect, but actions do speak louder than words. And we saw that with Kordell [Beckham and how he handled things post-Casa with Serena Page].”
She continued, “And I think that [Aaron] should be very lucky to have her and there’s a thousand men — whatever Kaylor’s type is — that would go for her in the outside world. So when he gets out he better start improving or I’ll come for him.”
Live also shaded Aaron for caring more about his friendship with Rob than his relationship with Taylor. “I feel like because she loves love and she loves Aaron, she will make it work. She’ll probably fly to Europe,” she said. “[When it comes to Aaron], I see actions where he loves her dearly and then I see other actions where I’m like, ‘What are you doing!’ Time will tell. If he can make the effort with Rob, he can make the effort with Kaylor.”
Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
