Jordan Heller, a 61-year-old Sales Manager from Riverwoods, Illinois, was one of 24 contestants on the first season of The Golden Bachelorette led by Joan Vassos. Joan, a 61-year-old Private School Administrator from Rockville, Maryland, was previously a contestant on Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor with Gerry Turner, where she sent herself home in 12th place in Week 3 to care for her daughter, who had a medical emergency.

Jordan had his first one-on-one date with Joan in Episode 4 of The Golden Bachelorette where the two danced in their own winter wonderland. “It’s a magical experience,” Jordan says in the episode. But what happens next? 

SPOILER: What happens to Jordan on The Golden Bachelorette?

Jordan was Joan’s fourth-place finalist on The Golden Bachelorette and was not her winner, according to Reality Steve. Joan sent home Jordan after Hometown Dates, where they filmed at the Chicago Riverwalk in Chicago, Illinois, about an hour from Jordan’s hometown in Riverwoods.

Joan’s other three finalists who received Hometown Dates were Guy Gansert, a 66-year-old ER Doctor from Reno, Nevada, Pascal Ibgur, a 69-year-old Salon Owner from Glencoe, Illinois, and Charles “Chock” Chapple, a 60-year-old Insurance Executive from Wichita, Kansas. Chock was Joan’s winner, according to Reality Steve, though he couldn’t confirm whether they were still engaged. Reality Steve also couldn’t confirm who was the runner-up and who came in third place between Guy and Pascal, though he did report that Pascal self-eliminated because he wasn’t in love with Joan, while Joan sent home Guy.

According to his Linkedin, Jordan was most recently a Territory Sales Manager for AquaPhoenix Scientific, where he worked from July 2023 to September 2024. Before that, he was a Senior Director of Business Development for Technomic, a Senior Business Development Manager for Brightfield Group, the Vice President of Business Development for The Onyx Company, and the Director of Sales for Point Five Packaging. He graduated from the University of Iowa with Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
