Khloé Kardashian’s very public shape-up has serendipitously (or more likely, cleverly) coincided with the launch of her first book, a health-and-fitness-focused read called Strong Looks Better Naked ($26.99). Now she’s gearing up to host E!’s new show Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian, in which the reality star will help whip mere mortals into shape after they’ve had their hearts broken.
Each of the six one-hour episodes in season one will “re-create” two people who are struggling through a breakup. According to a statement from E!: “Two heartbroken individuals will get the opportunity to re-create themselves with the help of a team of Hollywood’s most elite trainers, stylists, and glam squads assembled by Khloé Kardashian.” We assume this is the Kardashian version of public service and philanthropy.
“Looking great is always the best revenge,” added Khloé in the statement.
In case that’s not ick enough, you should know that the show’s name is actually a phrase Khloé coined to describe her post breakup figure in an interview with Women’s Health magazine in September. “Yeah, it’s a revenge body,” she said, adding: “But it’s just as much for all my critics who called me ‘the fat one’ for my entire existence.” Where can we place a bet that Kris is filing to trademark the phrase revenge body right now?
A premiere date for the show hasn’t been set yet, but in the meantime, you’ll be able to see lots of the blonde Kardashian on Kocktails with Khloé, her new talk show premiering Wednesday, January 20, on FYI (formerly known as the Biography Channel).
