It’s cold as hell in New York City right now, but that’s not going to stop Suki Waterhouse from getting a crazy fit off, I’ll tell you that much. The singer, actress, and model was out in Tribeca yesterday wearing denim shorts and tights, despite the 20-something degree weather.
The Daisy Jones & the Six star is no stranger to looking like a rockstar, but here she is doing it in the dead of New York’s winter. She was seen detangling her wired Apple headphones, which is the first sign of a dead serious rockstar and style icon. She had on a pair of small oval sunglasses, a fur coat, a tan t-shirt and a pair of light-wash denim shorts worn over a pair of sheer black tights. They look like they might be the fleece-lined tights, which may explain her wearing them in the winter, but we cannot confirm or deny. She paired them with a pair of black calf-length glossy boots.

Furs have definitely been on the rise. Waterhouse herself also recently wore a different fur coat that looked similar to this one. It was a tan faux fur coat from The Frankie Shop. After years of controversy, it looks like fur is getting a PR facelift. They’re all over vintage stores, the argument being a secondhand fur coat is more sustainable and also warmer than getting a new faux fur coat, which is made of plastic and will likely end up in a landfill taking a gazillion years to decompose. Personally, I don’t own any, so I’m blessed to not have to really take a stance here, but we can admit that she looks bomb.
