John Turturro Trades in His Severance Wardrobe for a Runway in Milan
The long-awaited new season of Severance is out now on Apple TV+, but one of the show’s stars John Turturro has clocked out and locked in, walking the runway for the Zegna Winter 2025 show, titled “The Legend of Vellus Aureum.”
The show is a display of staged orderly chaos, models walking across a hilly, grassy arena, crossing in and out around the little knolls, never disturbing or interrupting each other’s paths. Then in the final stretch of the show, in walks John Turturro, dressed a tweed coat and v-neck sweater over a shirt and trousers.
It appears Turturro is a fan of Zegna, or perhaps he’s a new friend of the brand and has recently been getting dressed by them. Either way, the actor was seen at a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden with Severance director Ben Stiller, wearing pieces from the luxury house. Zegna then, of course, posted them to Instagram, so it’s pretty clear he’s a friend of the house. He was also sighted in New York City last month dressed in pieces from the brand, and then this January, he wore a dark brown Conte jacket with black crewneck and trousers for an appearance at SiriusXM in order to promote the new season of Severance.
Severance is one of the hottest shows on right now. It had a humble Season 1 that took off in popularity in 2022, and its fans have been waiting for Season 2 ever since. It seems at least one member of the surrealist workplace show’s cast might be making a career pivot to modeling.
