The 2025 Oscars is finally here, and the red carpet is bringing us the star-studded glamour we live for. Because although tonight is about the movies, we all know the fashion is just as important. Thankfully, the stars are seriously coming through with their most impressive looks—and you know Wicked star Cynthia Erivo did not come to play. We’ve been obsessed with all of her iconic Elphaba-inspired outfits during the Wicked press tour, and she might’ve just outdone herself with her Oscars look tonight.
Cynthia Erivo never disappoints. Her maximalist extra long nails live rent free on our mood boards, and she’s always setting the bar higher when it comes to fashion. So naturally, we’re always paying attention to everything she wears. In the era of method dressing, Cynthia has mastered the art of serving looks while simultaneously giving subtle nods to Wicked. Surprisingly enough, we never get sick of her in green, and her look tonight is no exception.

At the 2025 Oscars, Cynthia stunned in a custom green velvet Louis Vuitton gown. Of course, she was also decked out in tons of gorgeous jewels to complement her glowing emerald nails. Although this look symbolizes the unfortunate end of the Wicked press tour (for now at least), it’s only solidifying our obsession with her Elphaba-inspired looks. Green is most definitely Cynthia’s color and the exaggerated bow silhouette of her dress is serving coquette vibes in the best way.
Tonight’s ceremony is huge for Miss Cynthia Erivo, as she’s only an Oscar away from being an official EGOT winner. Our fingers are crossed that our queen will take home the win tonight—but let’s be real, with this Louis Vuitton look, she’s already a winner in our eyes. No matter what happens, at least we were blessed with yet another incredible look from Cynthia—that’s all we can really ask for.
