When it comes to Lady Gaga, expect the unexpected. This is especially true in regards to her music and her fashion. Following her return to Saturday Night Live as host and musical guest on March 8, Gaga was spotted leaving the studio in her final outfit change of the show but paired with a hilarious accessory.

The “Telephone” singer was a must-see in the sparkly black bodysuit that featured padded shoulders and a plunging neckline. She paired this with sheer tights, cat-eye sunglasses, and platform heels. She topped off the look with a mouse. Yes, you read that right. As she exited the building she could be seen carrying a small glass box that housed a rodent wearing a gray T-shirt.

If you watched the episode, you know that the mouse has a name, and it’s Pip. The tiny creature appeared in a skit, starring Gaga, which saw him go from high school underdog to hero after entering a weight-lifting contest. Only Gaga believed in Pip, and he ended up saving the student body—except for one bully—after the gym ceiling caved in during the event.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Gaga made a quirky style statement. Remember when she wore the Franc Fernandez meat dress to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards? There was also the time she arrived on the 2011 Grammys red carpet in a large egg designed by Alexander McQueen. Two years later, she attended the American Music Awards on top of a white horse, wearing a lavender Versace dress. It’s safe to say that she’s not new to this, she’s true to this and things are only going to get weirder (in a good way). Gaga has been channeling her spooky, witchy side while promoting her latest album, Mayhem, which dropped on March 7.
