Katie Holmes Dressed Like Butter With a Side of Cleavage at Paris Fashion Week

This is a color trend we're seeing everywhere.

Katie Holmes brought her New York City style to Paris Fashion Week. She attended the Zimmermann fall/winter 2025 runway show sporting a butter yellow look from the luxury label. Holmes wore a satin trench coat and matching wide-leg satin pants. She paired the matching set with a dark brown bodysuit with a plunging neckline and a matching brown leather bag, also by the brand.

Technically, Zimmermann calls the color lemon, but it’s essentially a pale yellow, white with flash look that isn’t quite cream, so it’s the type of yellow you might be able to get away with wearing it to a wedding if the bride is chill about it.

Like we said, butter yellow is definitely a huge color trend for spring and summer this year. We’ve seen it in the collections of Sandy Liang, Prada, Miu Miu, and more. The suit Holmes is wearing is actually already available for purchase, the pants going for $850 and the jacket going for $1,450. Which is definitely a lot of money, but considering Holmes very likely was dressed by the brand, she’s certainly not sweating it. Plus, it’s nowhere near as showy as some of Paris Fashion Week’s darlings like Doechii and Chappell Roan who came dressed in gowns you can’t even buy if you wanted to.

The Zimmermann show had a romantic, bohemian vibe, which is typically the case for the brand. They’re not the kind of house that is known to put on an artistic show, like Rick Owens or Sacai, for example, as much as they are hoping to sell a high end commercial collection. I would venture to say that a typical Zimmermann customer might be more mature woman who may prioritize fashion’s beauty over its art.
