Zoë Kravitz Makes an Elegant Case for Showing Nip
There is a specific kind of girl who keeps tabs on the stylings of Zoë Kravitz, and it’s always the most effortless chic girl in your life. That’s because Zoë Kravitz is known to make a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt look cool. Kravitz was at the Saint Laurent show at Paris Fashion Week wearing a gorgeous cool light purple silk slip with a pale gold lace trim at the neckline lining up with her nipples. She also had on a golden fur hide coat, a brown leather crocodile bag, and brown strappy Opyum heels.
Kravitz came to Paris and attended her only show of the entire season, and of course it was Paris Fashion Week’s closing show, Saint Laurent. Kravitz is a beauty ambassador for the YSL Beauty, so that may have something to do with it. (Similarly, Saint Laurent was also Bella Hadid’s only show that she walked in this season and last season after a hiatus, and she’s also got a contract with the house.)
Kravitz tends to make even revealing clothes look incredibly elegant and provocative, not in a sexual way, but rather in a “Bodies Are Art” kind of way. And there’s a conversation to be had about the fact she’s incredibly thin and athletic. Not to take credit away from her style because it is very beautiful, but the outside world does tend to make larger bodies, even just slightly larger bodies into sexual objects in a way that thin girls do get passes on.
Charli xcx and Amelia Gray Hamlin were also in attendance, both wearing some of the best looks from last season’s show. Other attendees of the front row included Kate Moss, Jasmine Tookes, and Amber Valetta. Hamlin wore my number one standout look from the Spring collection.
