Selena Gomez‘s lap of victory continues. Her press cycle for her new album with fiance Benny Blanco titled, I Said I Love You First, will of course include one of Selena Gomez‘ biggest focuses of her career these last few years, Rare Beauty. At a press event for Rare Beauty in New York, Selena Gomez wore a striking red mini dress and matching red blazer-esque peacoat, and on the hip of her dress was a 3D sculpture of a large puckery rose.

First off, the look slays. The placement does look like a vagina a la Georgia O’Keefe, and not to be too on the nose, but she’s serving the c word that is probably unprofessional for me to say at work. The monochrome look was executed head to toe. There was of course her clothes, but then also her glossy red lip, courtesy of Rare Beauty, and her pointed toe red pumps. She styled her hair in a beautiful deep side parted bob, a la Rachel Zegler in Snow White.

Gomez seems to really be keen on roses and rosettes, which have been a pretty popular trend in recent years. In similar vein to the bow, the rosettes seem to be a popular, perhaps more grown up version of the fabric embellishment. Just last month, the Emilia Perez actress was seen walking the red carpet at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in a cream colored dress featuring a sculptural peplum and rosette at the hip. In addition, last fall at the Toronto International Film Festival, Gomez wore a sequin black maxi halter gown with a rosette at the neck.
