Winter is finally in the rearview, and Kim Kardashian is celebrating the spring weather by donning a tiny bikini on Instagram. Although we’ve seen Kim wear tons of extravagant red carpet looks like her Balenciaga wedding dress, we also know that she practically lives in a bikini on her off-days. However, unlike her usual beach looks, her latest bikini is actually made of a stretched denim material.
Yesterday, Kim shared a few bikini selfies to her Instagram with the caption, “Spring Break.” Although trolls in the comments were quick to call her “too old” to go on spring break (which isn’t true), all we could focus on was her chic grey denim bikini. She paired the tiny triangle top with a matching grey sarong—for a beach day look we could only dream of.

Since Kim has expensive taste, it’s no shock that her denim bikini is $400 from Rick Owens. And even though we might not be able to drop that much on a tiny piece of fabric, at least Kim is giving us even more unconventional bikini inspo for our next spring outing. As strange as it sounds, this isn’t the first time Kim has worn a bikini that’s not made of swimsuit material. Fans lost their minds over her Skims fur bikini (and for good reason), so I guess we should’ve expected her to pull off yet another unique bikini.
If Kim’s post has taught us anything, it’s that denim bikinis are so in for the warmer months. After all, Sabrina Carpenter wore a vintage denim Versace bikini for her Short n’ Sweet album cover—and we’ve been thinking about it ever since. For those of us growing tired of basic bikinis, maybe a denim number is just what we need to make our beach ‘fits feel brand new.
