If you hate Uggs, please step forward. It’s time to let that hate go. For years, Uggs lovers (like me) have been defending the shoe as a winter wardrobe staple, and it appears our hard work wasn’t in vain—because one of Hollywood’s biggest names just stepped in to strengthen our case. The one and only Jennifer Lopez was spotted rocking a pair while filming her new project Office Romance in New Jersey on April 7.
Photographers caught Lopez on set, in between takes, wearing the brand’s Classic Short II style with an off-white wrap coat and a pencil skirt. While we can assume she slipped into the boots to give her feet a break from heels, the point is: Uggs are always there when you need them.

They are a shoe that provides comfort and warmth—especially if you live or work on the east coast. Rain, snow, slush—they can handle it all without letting you down.
Hot take: when styled right, Uggs can actually look … kind of chic. Take the pair Lopez is wearing, for example. Swap in a chunky knit in a similar tone and some baggy cargos, and you’ve got an effortlessly cool fit. And beyond the classics, there’s so much more. The platform line—including styles like the Mini and Classic Mini—adds a trendy, slightly edgy vibe. Then there’s the Classic Chillapeak, with its bubble-like silhouette and cozy fur lining. And I can’t talk about Uggs without shouting out the Classic Mini Pump Molded boot. It’s probably the coolest style they’ve got right now, thanks to a molded platform that gives serious Bottega Veneta energy.
So yes, J.Lo wears Uggs—and maybe it’s time we all stopped pretending we’re above them.
