Bella Hadid’s See-Through Top & Ripped Jeans Are Weirdly Super Classy

Stepping out in NYC today in front of the Mercer Hotel seemingly unprompted, Hadid wore a sheer dark brown off-the-shoulder top paired with perfectly baggy straight ’90s-style ripped jeans and dark brown heels. Instead of a handbag, she carried an oversized, distressed brown leather jacket. To polish off her look, she wore a classic chunky black belt and dainty necklace that doesn’t distract from the stars of the show (the top and jeans, obviously).
What I love about this look is the brown-black choice: It offers the same versatility and class as black but is just a bit more unexpected. The sultry top and casual ripped jeans is such a stunning late spring look that’s easier and more effortless to pull off than most supermodel ensembles. Plus? It’s all strangely super tasteful and classy, even though the top is one-thousand percent see-through. (It must be the simple heels and elegant off-the-shoulder design of the top, right?)
