SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS Makes His Jaw-Dropping Met Gala Debut
S.COUPS just walked the Met Gala steps for the first time, and to say we’re obsessed is a severe understatement. SEVENTEEN’s leader attended the event as one of his first orders of business as BOSS’ newest global ambassador and took the carpet by storm.
S.COUPS wore a flowy grey suit with a darker overcoat designed by the fashion house, and he was complimented by the photographers for his matching watch. The German brand recently revealed the K-pop idol’s new position just weeks before Fashion’s Biggest Night. “Known for his outstanding leadership and sophisticated style, S. Coups brings a bold presence both on and off the stage — setting the tone for a powerful synergy with Boss,” the brand said in a statement.

2025’s Met Gala theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The eventhosted by Vogue editor-in-chief and Conde Nast chief global officer Anna Wintour, along with co-chairs Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams. Lebron James will serve as an honorary co-chair. The dress code for the big event is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the exhibition’s focus on suiting and menswear—from specific silhouettes to various fabrics and accessories—that is purposefully designed to both provide guidance and invite creative interpretation.
S.COUPS teased a fun May on Weverse ahead of his Met Gala appearance. SEVENTEEN is about to release their fifth full-length album HAPPY BURSTDAY on May 26 in honor of their tenth anniversary. The K-pop group also revealed that they’ll be going on tour later this year. Details of the tour have not been released as of writing.
