It’s Grammys night which means a night full of fashion looks that simply do not miss. Already kicking off the hottest looks at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, is Billie Eilish who made a splash on the red carpet earlier today. After already scoring a win at the pre-telecast ceremony alongside her songwriting brother Finneas O’Connell for the best song written for visual media for their hit track What Was I Made For?, the 22-year-old singer/songwriter arrived at the main event dressed to impress.
Eilish wore an oversized, vintage hot pink Barbie-themed varsity jacket from Chrome Hearts, paired with baggy black pants and a crisp white Willy Chavarria button-down shirt. The jacket featured silver heart-shaped buttons and the classic “Barbie” embroidered on the left side above three smaller designs. Adding to the snarky corporate secretary vibe, which would be incomplete with a pair of skinny prescription opticals, she finished off the look with a skinny black tie. The chic ensemble was perfected with a simple hairstyle: Eilish’s iconic red and black hair styled to the center part.

Many fans anticipated a different look from Eilish tonight, who earlier this morning posted a photo on Instagram alluding to a different Barbie ensemble.
The Instagram post captioned “Poodle Parade 1965” features a photo of a 1960s Barbie sporting an olive green dress, a pink headscarf, a classic pink and light green cardigan and a pearl necklace. On the top right-hand corner of the photo reads, “Barbie has always been a fashion trendsetter with a wide variety of outfits fitting the era (including the 1960s here and opposite).

Billie sported that outfit for her performance of “What Was I Made For?” on the Grammys stage, and no doubt remains a fashion trendsetter made for the red carpet. Her Grammys look is in line with her usual stylistic preferences; in fact, in the 2024 Golden Globes, she wore an oversized blazer over a striped blouse, and a khaki skirt with red socks and Mary Janes.
The key difference in this year’s look, though, is the homage to Barbie, a movie that is rooted in female empowerment and serves as a contemporary voice on gender issues. Plus, Eilish has received the support of Barbie’s main actress and executive producer Margot Robbie who reportedly told Extra’s Melvin Robert, “She’s incredible and such a gorgeous person…She is everything she seems to be and more.”
Already having won seven Grammys previously, Eilish is also nominated for several major awards tonight, including “Best Pop Solo Performance” and “Best Record of the Year.”
