Two Nepo Babies Just Walked The Runway at Paris Fashion Week
Fashion Week is perhaps the land of nepotism. For all the stereotypes that exist of the runway model, they actually run the whole range. Some come from humble backgrounds, and modeling is something that totally changes their lives. Whereas others really truly are just entering the family business, like Kaia Gerber, Kendall Jenner, or Lily Rose Depp. No hate to nepo kids from me. While it’s definitely annoying to see hard-working people get passed up on opportunities given to less skilled, but more advantaged people, I genuinely do love to see children of actors actually kill it. Sue me!
Kai Schreiber, daughter of Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, walked the Valentino show over the weekend, making her runway debut at age 16. Period. And Schreiber really was the perfect candidate for this show. Why? Well, the set of the Valentino show was a red room where models waited inside bathroom stalls, which was reportedly inspired by the late great film director David Lynch, who worked with Naomi Watts on the 2001 film, Mulholland Drive. This very much makes sense for the house, especially following the appointment of Alessandro Michele. She modeled a knitted leopard-pattered shift dress with a natural and blue fur collar, a nude lace wig cap, and a pair of blue-tinted black sunglasses. And guys, she was fab.
In related nepotism at Fashion Week news, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban also walked at Miu Miu, though it wasn’t her debut. It was her second show, her first being Miu Miu’s Spring 2025 show back in September. She shared on Vogue‘s TikTok a note she got from Miuccia Prada to take wider, faster strides for an elegant look.
