Alexander Wang is adding yet another notch to his impressive resume with the introduction of his own jewelry line. Although the 31-year-old designer recently finished his term as creative director for Balenciaga, he’s been staying busy focusing on his eponymous label and apparently, its expansion into jewelry.
This isn’t the first time Wang’s dabbled in jewelry, however; the designer has had collaborations with labels Gaia Repossi and Betony Vernon, in addition to the ornate pieces he designed for some of his Balenciaga collections.
“I always wanted to do jewelry, but I never felt like I had the opportunity. I’ve had my hands quite full. But I really got exposed to it when I went to Balenciaga and I really enjoyed the process,” Wang told WWD.

The collection—which will land in stores and online this month—so far consists of three chain link and lock pieces (earrings, a cuff, and a necklace with a gold-plated lock) that debuted on his Spring 2016 runway this fall, though the designer has plans to add to the range. Prices start at $295 for earrings and $525 for the necklace, and we’re obviously adding these to the top of our holiday wish lists.
