It’s finally July, which means we’re quickly creeping up on one of the busiest shopping seasons of the year. Sure, there are 4th of July sales and Prime Day (and every retailer’s competing event)—but I’m talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that happens every year.
If you’re here, then it means it’s finally time to shop Nordy’s biggest sale of the year, and you want some recs. Which is exactly what I’m here for! Here’s exactly what to expect from the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, how to shop it like a shopping editor does (hi! That’s where I come in!), and early deals to watch for under $100.
Jo Malone Deal: Jo Malone 5-Piece Cologne Discovery Set, $90 ($130 value)
Levi’s Deal: Levi’s Baggy Dead Jeans, $72 (was $108)
La Mer Deal: La Mer Mini Miracles Creme de la Mer Set, $98 ($174 value)
L’Occitane Deal: L’Occitane Showered in Almond Set, $52 ($91 value)
Westman Atelier Deal: Petite Blush Stick Duo, $35 ($50 value)
Le Labo Deal: Jumbo Hinoki Hand Soap, $49 ($70 value)
T3 Deal: Airebrush Blow Dry Brush, $100 (was $160)
The good news: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially kicks off July 8 and runs for about two weeks. The bad news? It’s open for Nordstrom cardholders based on their tier in membership. Basically, the more money you’ve spent at Nordstrom this year, the higher the tier you belong to, and the earlier you’ll be able to start shopping. Here are the Anni Sale start dates by membership tier:
Icons ($15,000+ spent): July 8
Ambassadors ($5,000+ spent): July 9-11
Influencers ($500+ spent): July 10-11
If you’re not a big Nordstrom spender but still want to partake in some retail therapy, don’t worry! Starting July 12, everyone can shop the sale. However, in my five years of covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, a lot of the best deals and products go quickly in those first couple days. Still—the sale is still worth shopping if you’re looking for apparel, beauty, and home finds at a good price. Unlike most other sales events during the year, the Anniversary Sale will feature in-season goods, not just just end-of-season inventory that the retailer needs to unload anyway (that’s the case for most holidays, including Black Friday).
The Anni Sale always features all of the biggest trends from the past year, and this year is no different. In my opinion, I do predict that the best deals will go even quicker, because of all the recession indicators and the ongoing tariff situation that’s driving folks to shop from a scarcity mindset. Even those who can normally afford goods at full-price will be quickly adding picks to their cart.
What this means for you, if you’re not a member: It helps to be super prepared. Every year, I always create a shopping list of the items I’m interested in. The morning my tier opens, I already have my wishlist added to my cart and can just click “purchase.”
Starting July 12, you can shop the Anniversary Sale without a Nordstrom card, but if you want to start shopping sooner, you’ll not only need to be a cardmember, but you’ll need to hit a certain tier.
