What I Wore & Brought to a Bad Bunny Concert in Puerto Rico

It’s the biggest party (er, concert) of the year. Make sure you’re prepared.

Like many, I hoped to see Bad Bunny in his Puerto Rican residency. So when I was invited by one of the official sponsors, Method Products, to come see the show with them, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. For those wondering, the concert feels like an interactive experience. The stadium is taken over with activations galore like DJ sets and bars, photo booths, games, and specialized merch. Every touchpoint is a love letter to his home of Puerto Rico, even including the bathrooms, which Method overtook as art, with products to boot. It’s truly a feat, and one that made me rethink what stadium concerts can be, and can do.

To get the most out of the night, everyone is recommended to get there early — like 5 p.m. early. (The show starts promptly at 9 p.m.) Knowing that, and knowing I’d be on my feet dancing all night, and also knowing the Puerto Rican weather that would be awaiting me (hot and possibly rainy), packing for such a huge event took some thought. But my packing came through in spades.

So for those attending the last shows, here’s the best packing list for the concert, with my save-the-days and wish-I-would-haves.

What to Bring to a Bad Bunny Concert in 2025
Quay, Chart Topper Sunglasses
Impactful (and protective) sunglasses are a must for the day-to-night mood of the concert (and the overall weekend). I love how big and bold these Quay sunglasses are (in collaboration with Christina Kirkman), and they provided the perfect way to combat the sun without sacrificing style. The oversized frames add drama to any look while shielding your eyes from harsh rays — key if you’re bouncing between outdoor events or want to look cute in photos without squinting.

Naot Mulberry Platform Sandals
Let’s talk survival footwear. These Naot platform sandals look super fashionable, but they feel like you’re in sneakers. They gave me the height I wanted (hello, better view of the stage) and the comfort I desperately needed to stay on my feet all night — from dancing at pre-show pop-ups to walking the stadium grounds. Bonus: the footbed has great arch support, which I wasn’t expecting in something so cute. (My flat feet were saved.)

Posse Luna Bandeau Top
Fun and bright or tropical is the name of the game when it comes to fit. You want something breathable, comfortable, and ready for heat, sweat, and selfies. This bandeau is a showstopper — the floral print is on theme, and the fit will stay in place all night. It’s stylish enough for dinner before the concert but still light enough for humid weather. I paired my bandeau look with a black mini skirt and sandals.

Flower Accessories
On Sale 10% off
Everyone — and I mean everyone — will have a version of this , so of course you can opt out, but you can also lean all the way in. I tossed one of these in my hair and instantly felt more concert-ready. It’s a low-effort way to add flair and tap into the island vibes, and it’ll make your outfit feel more festive in photos.

Handheld Silk Fan
On Sale 20% off
The stadium doesn’t allow in electric handheld fans (or at least most people report that they will not, though some fans have been getting away with them). Better be safe than sorry, and opt for an old school option. This one will keep you cool and breezy during the events pre-concert and add some flair to your outfit for the best photos. Just saying. It comes with one in black and one in white, so you’ll have an option to switch out or bring one for a friend.

On Sale 33% off
Be the hero of the group and keep everyone prepared for the storms with these super packable and portable ponchos . Umbrellas aren’t allowed inside the stadium, and yes, there is the possibility of a tropical storm (it’s Puerto Rico, after all). The skies will clear, so use a poncho to get there or back unscathed and enjoy the concert dry and happy. These come in a multi-pack, so you can hand them out and instantly become everyone’s favorite.

Mango Mini Handbag
On Sale 30% off
Stadium rules mandate a bag that is 4.5 x 6.5 — in other words, small. Or clear, 12 x 12. Go for the more fashionable option with this sleek mini bag from Mango. It’ll fit the essentials (lip gloss, phone, ID, and charger) and still keep up with the outfit without breaking the rules. The structured shape adds polish, and the short strap makes it easy to carry while dancing or waiting in line at the merch booth. Use MANGO30 for 30 percent off!

Rorry Portable Charger
On Sale 9% off
Between videos, IG Lives, and scanning your digital ticket, your phone is going to drain — fast. This charger is tiny enough to clip onto your keys but powerful enough to revive your phone mid-concert. I love this one and have been using it for events for over a year, and it’s still the best one I have.

Method Travel Size Body Wash
You’ll sweat — that’s a given. Having a fresh body wash in your travel bag is a game-changer for that post-concert shower. Method’s Pure Peace scent is perfect, and it’ll make you feel great (and less sticky) after a night of dancing in the Puerto Rican heat. Bonus: it’s TSA-approved, cruelty-free, and smells like a spa.
Liquid IV Hydration Multiplier
You’re going to want to have electrolytes on hand. Trust. Between sweating, drinking, and dancing for hours, you’ll dehydrate quickly. I brought a few packs of Liquid I.V. and added them to my water before and after the show. It’s a simple way to bounce back fast and avoid waking up feeling like a raisin. I recommend the variety pack so you can switch up flavors.
