The fabric is light and buttery and the high-waisted cut of it is super smart; It’s designed with strategic crossover piping flocked in a soft velvet to give you the teensiest bit of support and sculpt. The piping also prevents it from rolling or moving around, which was great for long days in photos and on dance floors.
Again, it’s not nearly as structured as the Superpower Thong, but that’s kind of the point. For a lighter smoothing effect (or just wanting to feel comfortable while sitting through a long dinner), it’s perfect. I ended up reaching for this more than I expected because it’s the kind of piece that works for weddings and normal life.
Its everyday comfort is where this bra shines. It feels structured enough to give a legit lift but soft and flexible enough to literally nap in. The crossover detail and mesh panels makes it way prettier than your average sports bra, but it’s not so “fancy” that you wouldn’t reach for it on a random Tuesday. And while it was too strappy for my event dresses, it can be worn under a thicker tank top easily (I’ve done it plenty of times, and it looks great).
