Growing up in the early 2000s, back-to-school shopping was the event of my year. But nothing hit quite like the summer before 7th grade, when I officially graduated from Limited Too to Aeropostale.

To my pre-teen self, nothing was cooler than low-rise jeans, cropped camis, and graphic tees. Now, two decades later, those same styles are suddenly cool again—and my mid-30s self wants them just as much, both for myself and my millennial besties.

Luckily, Aeropostale’s prices and gift offerings make indulging in this full-circle moment shockingly easy (… my mom made me toss all the OG pieces before I went to college, and honestly, I’m still bitter). Think $12 tanks, $60 jeans, and a pleated mini that costs less than the bowl of pasta I ate for dinner last night. Not to mention, an entire clearance section that feels like a treasure hunt.

Keep scrolling for the Aeropostale pieces that are making my Y2K dreams come true—again.

Long Sleeve Seamless Wear 3 Ways Crop Top
I vividly remember asking my mom to buy me a version of this top after seeing it in a music video on MTV. While she sadly deemed it “inappropriate for a middle school dance” at the time, now that I’m a grown ass adult and no one can tell me what to do, you’d better believe it’s going straight into my cart. And the best part? There are multiple different ways to wear it, so for only $7, you’re basically getting three shirts for the price of one.

Super Low-Rise Ultra Wide Leg Jean
Low-rise jeans may have traumatized me in my younger years, but now that Addison Rae and Hailey Bieber have made them cool again, I can’t get my hands on a pair fast enough. This style is Aeropostale’s widest leg and lowest slung, and sits perfectly on the hip bones while flaring in all the right places. Talk about a comeback I didn’t know I needed.

Ribbon & Lace Scoop-Neck Tank
Back in the early aughts, the only thing cooler than one lacey ribbed tank top was two (or three!) of them layered on top of each other. At $12 each, you can grab all three colors and recreate the full millennial mix-and-match moment.

Pleated Mini Skirt
Call me crazy, but this pleated mini is giving equal parts millennial middle schooler and modern-day Miu Miu. Translation: timelessly chic. It pairs just as well with today’s trends as it does with a full Y2K tube-top moment.

Mid-Rise Fold-Over Bootcut Pants
Before leggings took over, fold-over bootcut stretch pants were the cool-girl status symbol. I wore mine everywhere… and routinely got in trouble for violating my school’s dress code (worth it). These days, pulling on a pair without fear of the principal feels like its own kind of luxury.

Lizzie McGuire Oversized Graphic Tee
Hey now, hey now—this graphic tee is quite literally what my early aughts (and, TBH, current) dreams are made of. It’s cute enough to make “outfit repeater” feel like a compliment.

Rhinestone Hearts Low-Rise Denim Mini Skirt
The only thing more Y2K-coded than a denim mini? A denim mini covered in tiny rhinestone hearts. Pair it with a ribbed V-neck and folded-over faux Uggs (both in baby pink, duh) and you’ve got a carbon copy of my seventh-grade uniform.

Super Low-Rise Baggy Wide Leg Rhinestone Butterfly Jean
It’s hard to fully explain the chokehold that butterflies had over my early aughts wardrobe, but these jeans capture it perfectly with a full rhinestone butterfly decal across the butt. I haven’t seen anything this 2006-coded in years. Truly, you had to be there.

Demetra for Aero Cherries Sleep Tank
Cherries were another inexplicably beloved millennial motif, and this tiny sleep tank is exactly the kind of garment I would’ve obsessed over. Back then, it belonged at a 12th-birthday slumber party. Now? I want to wear it out with hip-huggers and kitten heels.

Long Sleeve Buttery Soft V-Neck Henley
You’d better believe that my seventh grade shopping spree included this exact top in at least three different colors. The wear-with-literally-everything style was cute, comfy, and oh-so-soft, which explains why it was such a regular staple in my outfit rotation back then. For a little extra Y2K #fashun, layer two at once. Bonus points for adding a lace-trimmed tank underneath.
