This Comfy Shoe Brand’s Latest Art-Inspired Collab May Be Its Best One Yet

If you’re a big fan of art, you’re going to want to sit down for this—one of our favorite sneaker brands just collaborated with the MFA Boston on the release of a lifetime: a handful of brand new shoe print designs depicting the iconic works of Katsushika Hokusai.
Per a press release, Hokusai’s themes are meant to remind us of our “intrinsic connection with our planet and all living things.” This ultimately makes for an ideal pairing with none other than Cariuma, an eco-friendly brand that sustainably sources the materials for all of its products.
One of “the most acclaimed and influential artists of all time,” Katsushika Hokusai was best known for his powerful drawings and paintings that strikingly depict the sheer beauty of Japan and its natural landscapes. Working off the artist’s iconic print, “the Great Wave,” from the MFA’s renowned collection of Japanese art, you can see the beautiful design drawn skillfully across the OCA, Slip-On, and Naioca best-sellers from Cariuma.
Cariuma gives back through its reforestation program.
