I Can’t Stop Wearing These $30 Sparkly Flats That Are a Dead Ringer for the $1,220 Mach & Mach Pair

2023 has proven itself to be the Year of the Dupe, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon — not in this economy!! More affordable versions of designer products that look and feel just like the real thing have taken over TikTok, and I’m guilty to adding dozens of beauty items, accessories, and clothing to cart using my girl math logic of “if I’m not paying for the designer version, I’m actually making money.” Whatever we need to tell ourselves, right? My latest dupe obsession? This pair of flats from A New Day that only cost me $30 and are the flats version of these Mach & Mach heels ($1,220).

I first saw them on TikTok, with shoppers claiming they’re the perfect holiday shoe.
And they are. So far, I’ve been wearing them to the office and lunch, but I plan on wearing them for Russian New Year’s, an event my family takes super seriously and dresses for the occasion. Here’s my outfit on the day I went out to lunch. I kept it casual with some MOTHER jeans and an old Hidden Valley Ranch ugly Christmas sweater (I love camp), but the heels gave my ensemble a pop of glitter and fun. Best of all? Since they’re flats and well-made, they were so comfortable to wear around town.
Crafted from a satin-like material, these immediately feel more elevated than your everyday cloth or leather flats. The memory foam insole make them more foot-friendly than so many other flats I have collecting dust in my closet (too many foot cramps to risk wearing them), and I can confirm these are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Plus, they’re spacious, so if you normally struggle with too narrow of footwear, you may find more luck with these. Those with narrow feet *may* find them too wide. They fit my average feet perfectly, though, and they’re true to size (I’m a size 8 and I ordered a size 8).
The best detail, and it’s the one that’s sending TikTok, is the rhinestone bow and border. It’s soooo similar to the Mach & Mach heels. In fact, if you’re looking for heels versus flats, A New Day has a heeled version of these that are a dead ringer for Mach & Mach — and they’re just $40.
The bummer news is that they’re nearly sold out. The baby blue pair has the most sizes still available (TikTokers are calling it the “Cinderella” shoe, which, cute). But if you check back enough times, you’re bound to get yourself a pair.

While I haven’t tested the heels, shoppers can’t stop raving about them, claiming they’re actually more comfortable than the $1,220 pair. “I treated myself to the real maker of these called Mach and Mach and two days later I saw these in Target. The quality is obviously not the same however these were more comfortable than the original and loved the height of the heel,” one writes.
