Summer’s in full swing, which means one thing: Sandals.
However, before you turn to the same old mass brands, we suggest you get to know some new, niche labels we’re obsessing over right now.
Ahead, a selection of fresh footwear lines that you should check out right now—there’s still months left for open-toe season!

By winning the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award last November, British-born, US-based Paul Andrew‘s eponymous footwear label catapulted from being an under-the-radar collection to the buzziest name in fashionland.
Andrew’s first line of luxury shoes launched for Spring 2013, but this designer has more than 15 years honing his craft at top brands like Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen and Narciso Rodriguez.
His collections are incredibly fun and feminine, but also come with a designer price tag—the above beauties clock in at around $995—so consider yourself warned.

This recently-launched line of lace-up sandals, summery mules, and office-appropriate pumps is made entirely in Italy–so you know the knockout designs are also high quality.
The shoes are super wearable, and the price tags are equally palatable. Most flats are priced under $200, while heels hover around $250—fairly reasonable compared to several other luxe footwear lines.

The Mode Collective is the Australian accessories brand that all the Aussie It-girls are wearing thanks to its knack for designing chic, minimalist footwear.
The line’s strappy sandals come in a simple palette of tan, red, black, or python, and are both dainty and flattering on the foot. Prices are pretty reasonable when you consider the high quality and workmanship–$250 for heels and $230 for flats–and the store now ships to the U.S.
