When Ronnie Feig of KITH noticed that more and more women were coming into his New York City stores catered to menswear, and smallest sizes were selling out, he did what any sensible designer would do and launched a debut womenswear collection. That was back in December–and now, KITH is set to launch its second womenswear wear collection tomorrow morning in stores and online.

If you’re unfamiliar with KITH, it’s a very of-the-moment athleisure brand. Think: structured bomber jackets, comfy sweatpants, sleek leggings and dresses with sports-inspired motifs, taken from say, a baseball jersey. Their Brooklyn location carries its own selection of clothing as well as a plethora of sneakers from Vans, Adidas, Nike and more, and it even has its own cereal bar (yes, really) with over 24 different varieties and toppings. And their flagship Manhattan locations (one for men, and since December, one for women) are equally as cool–designed by art/architecture firm Snarkitecture (they’ve done projects for Cos, Public School and Calvin Klein.)

If KITH’s insanely cool collection proves anything, it’s that the athleisure trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. For reference, just see Alexander Wang and DKNY’s most recent collections.

On his aeshetic, Feig says, “It’s a response to how women are dressing now. However your day-to-day life goes, you want to give women that ability to wear something all the way through. In today’s world, you got to give people multifunction product.”
