The Forever 21 x Cheetos Collab Is Dangerously Cheesy (and Actually Very Cute!)
Forever 21 is at it again with another unique collaboration that leaves me equal parts confused and delighted. After their oddly intriguing USPS collection and adorably ’90s Pepsi collab, I thought my summer wardrobe had hit its graphic crop top limit. But the new Forever 21 x Cheetos collection has proven me totally wrong. I never knew I needed a completely Cheeto-themed clothing arsenal until right freakin’ now. I already loved Forever 21, and Cheetos have been a snack of choice for me since I was a kid, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the two brands collaborating to make the ultimate capsule collection for summer.
Oh, am I being dramatic? Get. Over. It. This Forever 21 x Cheetos collab is giving me life. The only thing missing from my summer wardrobe was exactly this collection. Imagine donning a pair of high-waisted mom shorts, slipping on a Cheetos crop top, grabbing a bag of Flamin Hot Cheetos (or, in my case, Cheetos Puffs. Gotta represent.) and sitting by your neighborhood pool, soaking in the sun. If that doesn’t sound like an *ideal* day for you, then get off my lawn. I’m here for Cheetos fans and Cheetos fans only.
From a Cheetos tie-dye crop top to Cheetos pool slides (Yeah, they did that!), there are myriad ways to rock this Forever 21 x Cheetos collection. The entire collab honestly makes me feel like I’m back in the summer of ’07. There’s just 13-year-old me, a bag of Cheetos and the entire summer ahead of me. If wearing a Cheetos crop top allows me to reminisce on those days while allowing me to look much, much cooler than I did at age 13, then you better believe I’m going to take that opportunity.
