The 2024 CMA Awards kicked off on Wednesday, November 20, and the vibe was: lights, camera, fashion. The genre’s biggest names and rising stars celebrated the hottest hits and memorable moments from the last several months at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. But before basking in country bliss, A-listers posed on the red carpet, making statements in sparkly gowns and tailored tuxedos.
Kelsea Ballerini made her grand entrance in a silver sequin Dolce & Gabbana dress that featured deep cuts at the side, revealing major side boob. She complemented the look with metallic sandal heels and wore her blonde hair in loose, bouncy curls. She walked the red carpet with her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, who looked handsome in a fitted black suit.
Simone Biles also shimmered, donning a fitted chrome gown that featured an off-the-shoulder sleeve and a gathered skirt. She styled the floor-length number with pointed-toe black pumps and simple jewelry. The Olympian had her hair styled in a bob, parted to the side.
Kacey Musgraves, meanwhile, was dripping in crystals. Her look included a denim dress with feathered sleeves and stones scattered throughout. She provided a bit of contrast with timeless beige pumps. Musgraves—who was up for three awards at the ceremony—took the stage to perform “The Architect” from her latest album, Deeper Well. Ballerini also serenaded the crowd while Biles served as a presenter.
