While most red carpets serve couture we admire from afar, the GLAAD Media Awards gave us something better: real-life outfit inspiration. Think party looks you’ll actually want to copy—no gala invite required.
Take Lil Nas X, for example. He dazzled at the Beverly Hilton on March 27 in a vintage-looking fur coat, which he wore open, exposing a distressed white cropped tank top. He paired the pieces with loose jeans, a statement belt, and western boots. He topped his look off with a cowboy hat. I can see the gworls wearing this to the Cowboy Carter tour in a few weeks—and also when fall its NYC again in a few months.
Of course, Doechii also brought it. She always does. She opted for an off-the-shoulder corset-like top styled with a billowing black skirt that appeared to be purposefully deconstructed. Her look was from Maison Margiela, so naturally, she completed it with a pair of Tabis.
Tanner Adell totally went for it in a sculptural look, which is so back, according to the 2025 runways. Her gown featured a skintight bodice that fell into a bubble waist. She delivered even more drama with her hair, rocking big, bouncy Dolly Parton curls.
Maren Morris, meanwhile, was a calming presence. She looked timeless and elegant in a silky white halter gown that featured a chic cowl neck and an open back. You can never go wrong with a sleek halter. This works for club, the beach, a wedding, and everything in between.
