Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant, and she’s doing it very stylishly. Well first, she’s hardly visible for public appearances. Hell yeah. Stay home, and do whatever you want. And second, the clear work obligations she has to attend—movie premieres, casual stuff like that—she’s not playing games. Her pregnancy is high fashion and dead serious.

Lawrence works with stylist Jamie Mizrahi, who also styles Mikey Madison, Adele, and Jeremy Allen White. For the premiere of Zurawksi v Texas, a movie about the United States’ restrictive abortion laws, Lawrence wore a double breasted wool and silk dress from Dior, meant to mimic a coat. Lawrence is one of the film’s executive producers alongside former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

She’s been active behind the scenes of a lot of projects lately. In addition to Zurawski v Texas, she co-produced a documentary called Bread & Roses, alongside Justine Ciarrocchi, Farhad Khosravi and director Sahra Mani. The documentary follows Afghan women living under Taliban rule in Kabul and centers on three women as they fight for their rights and livelihoods. She went to the premiere dressed in a beautiful black strapless gown. It was an archival Christian Lacroix Haute Couture gown from Fall 2006.

Then just over the weekend, Lawrence attended the 2024 Governors Award, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where honorary Oscars are given out to outstanding contributions in creative fields and humanitarian causes. Lawrence wore a custom dark brown sleeveless dress by Bottega Veneta from the upcoming pre-fall 2025 collection. It’s a floor-length ruched gown. She paired the look with Ana Khouri jewelry and a woven golden Bottega clutch. She was one of the best dressed looks of the night.

The actress and her husband Cooke Maroney are expecting their second child. They welcomed their son Cy, named after Cy Twombly, in 2022.
