Margaret Qualley practically grew up on red carpets, being the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell and model Paul Qualley. One of her first major red carpets was the Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony, where she accompanied her mother. Like… that’s so period. She’s now, of course, the actress you see starring in major motion pictures of her own, walking on red carpets of her own. But because she’s got a storied red carpet past, we have to compile Qualley’s best.

Today, Margaret Qualley has an incredibly refined and established red carpet look. She’s an ambassador for Chanel, and to be honest, she’s one of the few Chanel girls that people aren’t begging to break contract with because, I gotta be so real, the Chanel look really suits that girl. Which makes sense. She’s been unofficially a Chanel girl since she was a teenager, walking in their runway shows. In 2021, she even walked as the Fall/Winter 2021/2022 Haute Couture show’s Chanel Bride. If you scroll down, almost all of her recent red carpet looks are Chanel without fail. Her iconic style, the bows in her hair, the black and white gowns, when you think about it, you’re like, well of course, it’s Chanel. You know that lyric Lana Del Rey wrote about her and Jack Antonoff, “He met Margaret on our rooftop, she was wearing white.” I wouldn’t be surprised if that white outfit she was wearing was Chanel.

But that being, said, some of the most beautiful looks of hers, especially early in her career are from other designers. My personal fave is the 2018 Christian Dior Resort frock she wore to the Netflix premiere of “Death Note.” It’s definitely very different from the look she sports today, but she has had a head start getting to play with style, so no wonder it’s so good.
